Ebuyer are selling Roomba type autonomous robot vacuum cleaners for less than £50!

Probably best for hardwood floors, but for that price, and based on the reviews I'm sold. I had been looking for a Roomba but they're about £200 and aren't easy to find in the UK and do exactly the same thing.

Buy some blank DVD's or something for around £8 to go above £49.99 and get free delivery (usually around £8 anyway). Better still get a kettle and have a cuppa while it does your housework.

a reasonable deal, but a few pounds more than the lower cost a few weeks ago:

Yeah, posted this a bit late, ordered it on Thursday and it was £39.99 then. The next day it had gone up.

Didn't realise it has been on here already though

Roomba are the only decent robotic hovers.

Hehe. Worth the money just to see the wife's face when she opens it up on Christmas day!

Hot and Rep for the comedy factor!

Can't see the point in these!!

I have a roomba but it's only really any good on hardwood/laminate flooring. On any carpet with a pile it will struggle, plus on carpets it just moves some of the dirt around while leaving most of it in the carpet. Without the ability to suck up the dirt you'd be just as well using a brush on your carpet.

Do yourself a favour and buy the wife a proper vacuum.
