good or not?

Hoovering can be classed as exercise as can all physical activity involved in general housework-this must be for the people who have "no time" but can spend hours on their magical electrical devices

link to the hoover on another aldi site, the UK one hasn't updated any of the august 14th deals yet.

Im going to go out on a limb here and say that i think this product is going to suck

these are useless...

these are useless...

Is this from personal experience of this product, and informed view about robotic cleaners in general, or an uninformed opinion based on hearsay?

Just had a look on Aldi but cant see this any where on the site. Has it been removed?

Shame it doesn't seem to be that good on carpets

Can't see any of the stuff you've posted on the 14th offers.

Original Poster

I don't think it's showing on the site as they are reduced special buy items. That's what it says in the leaflet I got through the door anyway. I'll post a pic of the leaflet and all items/ prices in a bit.

Does it name a specific (one of your local) stores on that leaflet? Just wondering, because the only leaflet we've ever had for Aldi through our door was promoting a brand new store opening and the offers within the leaflet were dedicated to only that particular store.

Not, they're a gimmick. A good talking point when family & friends pop round - don't waste your money

What are you basing that on?

Roombas are really good, but quite expensive still.

If this is as good as, or close to a Roomba, it will be worth £75. Just wondering if there any reviews for this model.

Banned

Think it might be this but rebranded.

Review of Aldi one here

Seems good for the money, don't see what people are whining about!

Check post 13 in page 1 of this thread. The guy gives a link to when this was last posted at full price which looks to have a few people who own one of these posting their views.

i might need 2!

That's exactly what I was thinking, unless your not physically capable or cannot get someone else to do it I would never buy one of these.

They are rubbish, buy one and find out like I did.

I've got short hard carpet, would this work on it ? Also this is definitely only starting on the Thursday ?

Maybe their magical electrical devices such as laptop or mobile phone AT WORK. I understand why you're implying people who buy these are lazy, but you really shouldn't judge... I'm out of the house for 12 hours + each day, as is my partner. 10 mins may be no time at all to some people, in which case stick to your standard Hoover. For others, 10 mins out of a few hours of "free" time per day (in which you also need to shower, cook, and prepare for the next day) can make all the difference

Payed?

I own one, they don't do a thorough job

Sorry, I was looking for the reply tab and hit liked by mistake

knew someone would mention breaking bad haha,
but would also like to know if these are worth the buy?

Have a Roomba (which I bought second hand on this site 5 yeras ago: http://www.hotukdeals.com/for-sale-trade/irobot-roomba-530-robotic-vacuum-cleaner-425475 )

Had to change the battery once so far

Wouldn't be without it.

Not quite sure what people expect from this type of product ?
I have one and I think it does a good job for what it is , or course it won't be as thorough or as powerful as a conventional hoover . However you use it more often than you would normally vacuum so it keeps on top of the job.
I would definitely recommend it.

I presume you are the type of person who goes out and kills their own food as opposed to being lazy and going to a butcher.

Maybe you also pick cotton, spin your own yarn and make your clothes as opposed to that 'easy option' of buying clothes.

And of course you can walk everywhere, so doubt you have a car.

hmm.. I wonder what my dog will make of it....
