same price on ebay by other sellers.

Ghost Bikes are horrific. They have the customer service skills of a wet trout. I'd rather take a punt on an eBay seller than go anywhere near them.

I have no opinion either way on these as they look very nice. I'll just say if it was my head, I'd pay a little more for peace of mind and grab a HJC or AGV.

But I believe everything deserves a fair chance so I'd be interested to see crash data on these helmets. I just wouldn't want to be the first to test it out.

Got my last helmet from Ghost Bikes. Also got some boots on the way. Never had a problem ordering from them.

was half tempted to buy as a spare helmet but my heads a popular size it appears

I'd sooner go for something that had been SHARP tested or similar, you can never protect your head enough... some people would disagree, but if I knew I was coming off my motorcycle, I'd sooner come off wearing my HJC IS17 than this...

I have had a few things from ghost bikes including a helmet, never had a problem. heat added

If you've got a cheap head, buy a cheap helmet...

Been shopping at Ghostbikes for years and wouldn't go anywhere else for my gear, never had any problem with them or their products. The overall shopping experience including their customer service has been second to none.

Bought few times from them, not a problem.. Only last winter didn't like the quality of a pair of gloves and they replaced it for me with better one from other brand

It seems a lot of people disagree with you! Maybe they'd rather you went to ebay too?

Trotting out that lazy, well worn line again. How about adding 'you get what you pay for' (often you don't, hence sites like HUKD). Price is irrelevant: there are lousy expensive helmets and good cheap ones. Use SHARP's ratings, etc., not price.

Exactly what he said the fit is as important as anything my helmet was bloody expensive not because I wanted and expensive one but because it fitted the best (Shoei) they did not fit my wife so she has a Caberg again the fit is as if not more important than the quailty of the helmet.

I too have a Caberg. Did the research first then tried the helmet on for fit. Expensive but I know where I'm prepared to cut corners in all senses! This may be a good deal for some.

Like others have said, I would rather stick to a branded SHARP tested lid. It would be interesting to see what this scores as there are a few cheaper lids that scored surprisingly well.

Interesting it's not been tested by SHARP. Anyone know why?
Can't see if it's gold sticker for track use either.
Have seen both for this price but not voting either way.

Just popped in to check out the "what price for your head comments"

NOT a deal, the same price at amazon too.... cold

I've never had a problem with them over two orders. Wanted a lower size down helmet & sending it back costs were covered & it was very efficient etc. Miss my Yamaha XT 125 it ran off of kitten tears & I could throw it around like my girlfriend

Well that's funny, because I own a motorcycling forum with thousands of members and plenty of them know what they are like and agree with me. Just because you've had a good experience with them, it doesn't mean everyone has. I've heard plenty of our members stories about their poor CS. Try taking a broader look before hitting 'post' next time, eh.
