£3 cheaper than the closest other retailer according to find-dvd. ]http//ww…htm

Still a lot of money for a 2 episode DVD. Will be in the pound shops before the end of the year!!

wow i never knew they did any episodes/series with rodneys dad (freddy frog gets a mention in an episode of OFAH)

I just LOVED this. I remember a thread about this in Misc when it was shown on tv - and a lot of them never enjoyed it.................but I think what you need to remember is that this isnt comedy - its a brilliant drama giving you the history of the Trotters!!!

hot OP and thanks for posting

No worries. I'm a huge OFAH fan and I thought this was just fantastic and worth every penny.

Me too. I didn't really like the post 1996 Christmas specials and stuff like Green Green Grass was rubbish but this drama was excellent. It was brilliant how all the characters and events were mentioned from the series and the kid from the Inbetweeners did an excellent job of young Del.

That being said, this DVD is a bit pricy even at this price for what it is, not something i'll watch more than four or five times unlike the main shows which i've watched hundreds of times.

i hated it

My husband didnt enjoy it much either but that was because he was expecting a laugh a minute comedy - which it wasnt!!!! Maybe you were the same?

I think it done an absolutely brilliant job explaining the history of the trotters - and not giving anything away here - but also Rodneys history too:thumbsup:

I hated this and I love fools and horses, i expected this to be similar but it was more like heartbeat

IMO I think every writer has his peak and John sullivans hit his from "just good friends" to when Damian was born in "OFAH" from that time onward his standard of writing has gradually diminished which isnt surprising as some of it in the period I mentioned above was as close to perfection as a comedy writer could get.And to keep up that standard year in year out, whatever profession your in, is virtually impossible.

The 2000's specials were a mistake, the series should have ended with the amazing 1996 trilogy. "This time next year we'll be billionaires!" was a great line to end things on rather than "Where did that runway come from" or whatever it was in the last 2003 special.

Rock And Chips however as I said above I thought was excellent after not being very optimistic. If you were expecting a sitcom environment that may be why you were dissapointed but apart from a few issues the drama was done very well I though. To each their own though.

Thought it was OK, I've just come from the pub that they used as the Nag's Head.

the beer cost much?

hang on,be back in a minute, ive got trigger sweeping the driveway...

this was not bad but its sill to much and also they left a lot out of the story line : (
