Just a heads up, get some before they sell out! There was tens of bags at local store yesterday, all sold out today! No more deliveries expected anytime soon or so I was told... Useful stuff when the ice/snow comes!

LOL!

It would be quite a task *taking* 25KG of the stuff, I would rather pay my £6.99

Hmm not sure about this, it's also a matter of supply, with snow expected from thursday, thought I would give a heads up they are selling it at £6.99 before it all sells out...

How can this be stealing when you have already paid for your share of the local authority council tax? Those big yellow grit bins hold a lot more than 25kg of grit mate & are for everyone to use & usually situated near inclined paths/road for local health & safety. Just take what you only need & not been too greedy [first come, first serve] to make sure the path/road is safe for yourself & everyone.

£6.99 is about the standard price, its £6.99 in wickes, £7.16 at Jewsons etc. not hot, not cold.

£5.99 at my local B&Q but the bags just stated 'Large' as the size. Don't know if they were 25kg or not as this stuff is heavy, but they didn't look very big so I didn't buy any.

Was out earlier walking dog and gritters were out..............was sooooooooooooooooo cold!!

Large bag 25kg was in Netto the other day @ £6,50 which is sat next to the back door ready for the snow

Wickes also do 25kg for £6.99 (Was £5 a week or so ago)
