Much like the Revolut trick of old when using the Argentina and Turkey stores, games can be purchased at face value from the Hungary Xbox Store but using any debit card without the use of a VPN. Naturally, fee free cards are going to work best ie. Monzo, Starling, N26, Clarity and Revolut.

A slight saving can therefore be had buying this game vs purchasing from the UK Xbox store.

QUICK GUIDE:

  • Go to the Rayman Legends game page on the Hungary store and click the blue ‘Buy’ link and log in using your usual U.K. account, this will first ask you to set up an account address for that their region if you don’t already have one set up. Google is your friend.
  • It will then ask you to add a payment option, this is where you add the payment card of your choice.
  • It is advisable to completely avoid the use of a VPN.
  • The game will then be available to download via your console as you normally would.
Good price. I however will not buy this as it is on the game pass store and I can't imagine it disappearing due to it's popularity.

Ok- haven't got games pass and didn't realise. Will add to the post to avoid people buying when they already have access...
I have recently downloaded with my game pass... it’s a brilliant game

Never new this little kart game existed, thanks, I'm big fan on sonic all star, is it as good? And busy on line? That would be the buying point for me

Mixed reviews m8,some say ok,not bad for if they say around 6 quid is right, think it’s online play but no story mode, just championships.

Thanks for that m8.
I picked up Portal Knights in the UK sale yesterday for £5.50. Having played it for a few hours today with my 8 yr old daughter, I can honestly say its really good, we play Minecraft together a far bit, PK is similar and would be good for fans of that
Duke Nukem is also slightly cheaper on Hungarian store.

This method isnt working

Worked fine for me (using clarity credit card and random Hungarian address). No one else reported problems on this or on the similar earlier deals I've seen... Try again!? Maybe use Chrome and use the English translation facility to make it easier?
My boys are playing Rayman legends now!! Bought for £2 odd!
I've used revolut card and using turkey just come up saying use another payment method

Turkey won't work, its Hungary that the post is referring to.

Duke Nukem is also slightly cheaper on Hungarian store.

Agreed. Most of the games-but not all- are slightly cheaper. Unfortunately, the a-list games on sale are roughly the same price from those I checked.

Duke Nukem 3D 20th anniversary world tour is £2.39 on the GB site and roughly £1.48 on HU.
Turkey used to work with normal cards so did Hong Kong where the games were very cheap, then very quickly they stopped it which was a shame,my view is your still buying the game from Xbox no matter what the region is but I guess they see it as now losing money.
Last chance on this... Says three hours left of the sale
