Not an expert, but seems like a great price for all you get!

Heated up and ordered for the wee one!!

Thanks for posting!!
We recently bought a smaller version of this (44 keys I think), and whilst it's cheap I'm not impressed.

The sounds are very low quality in comparison to even a cheap Casio or Yamaha, etc... The "piano" tone just doesn't sound like a piano - just a poor quality imitation.

Also, ours has developed a fault after just a weeks usage - it quite often stops playing any sound at all when you hit a key. You have to power it off and then back on again but the fault generally reappears soon afterwards. I'm sure this is just a rare fault but knowing what I do now, I wouldn't have ordered it in the first place.
Piano only, or 'organ-type' tones as well?

In one of the angled product images, you can see "200 tones" written in blue on the side of the keyboard. It mentions, Piano, Organ, Bass, Synthesizer, Reed, Pipe, Brass etc...

(somewhat) cheap Chinese crap. Better off with a Casio, will sound about the same.
Have no clue about these, but this one looks ridiculously cheap. If it does what it should do.

I thought so, but apparently they don't list the 263, only the 363 as touch sensitive.

Thanks, my boyfriend wants to learn to play as an isolation hobby to replace the gym as it’s closed

It's from Amazon as far as I am aware, so should not have import duties. I am not sure but also, I think this is below the price you start paying duty tasks. However, the price tells you how 'good' this is

As I said, I have absolutely no clue what these do, to me the less keys, the better, easier to learn . I've just mentioned this if anyone want something cheap for the kids getting bored now.

Yep, it certainly does

Yes it has a headphone socket, this kit even includes headphones
During my youth, I acted as backup keyboardist for Duran Duran.....you can guess upon my exceptional skill level

For the price at the time of this post and from the reaction of my little one experience so far, this package is superb value!

Not sure how much of costs as of the 22nd of March, but if it's the same price or even cheaper, then by all means go for it!!!

Amazon is not the seller. Like I said, it is a a seller in China.
I bought this at £99.99 a few months back. Got a bit of money off by topping up my account (£6 off £80).

Bought it to use with simply piano as you can register an account by going to the address that's on a sticker on the keyboard. That gives you a months premium access although there's nothing stopping you registering another email address and doing it again; the lessons needn't be completed sequentially.

It works fine with an old and otherwise slow Lenovo Tab 3 via the midi in (requires USB A to B Cable aka printer cable). It comes with stickers for the keys too although these have worn off a bit from constant use. Overall we are happy with it and simply piano. My 2 year old enjoys bobbing to the numerous rhythms .

At this price it's definitely worth it, given the current climate and all.

In addition: The service from Amazon (Prime member via Vitality) is top notch. Ordered on a Saturday and arrived on Sunday. Although the current estimated delivery times don't reflect this.

Casio CT-S100AD is £89.38 and will sound substantially better than this. Definitely worth considering if you are considering taking this up as a hobby.

The smaller version has a couple of warehouse deals "used-very good" for £30.77.

Delivery times on amazon for a lot items have gradually increased over the last few days. I ordered this on friday and it's being delivered on Wednesday. Checked Saturday and noticed anyone placing order for one now has to wait till end of April seems to be the same for a lot of items assume it's to do with COVID-19.

Pressure sensitive Keyes? Midi output?
WillieGophar10/03/2020 13:19

It does have midi out so you can hook it up to another piece of hardware or a pc and it will play whatever sound it's connected to

No to the keys, yes to the midi out

I didnt say custom taxes, I said import duty. You still have to pay VAT and a royal mail handling/processing fee. That's if it even arrives. Point being it is not worth it.

If it was fulfilled by amazon then it may have been worth a punt...

I also don't believe is worth, sadly Amazon became more like eBay now. Got things before from Amazon coming directly from China, also from Gearbest or Ali Express, never paid any taxes. For me is not worth as more than likely, considering the price, it may be rubbish. If it does not come, you get your money from Amazon. However, may worth a try for those who want it cheap, we've got a relatively good guitar, also decent tennis racket for my son, he's not interested, rather pay cheap until I conclude is worth to get something better. If the kid shows no interest...

Slightly worrying that Amazon's Warehouse is currently showing 8 of these that have obviously been returned. Still - if you want a bargain - they are only £63.17!
