Been looking around for cheap mesh head drum kits and spotted this one on Amazon. Reviews are mixed but for the price it looks like you get a lot for the money.

Good price... Thanks
I think the lack of a kick drum tower can be a problem as its just a pedal trigger so no feel for kick drum. Like with most instruments buy up to what you can afford not the cheapest as you will then not have an incentive to continue or it may even hinder your playing and learning, same goes for guitars possibly more so i.e. a cheap badly setup guitar will make it hard to learn on and put you off.
Please God don't let my neighbor's buy one.
Thanks have been looking for ages for one for a decent price for my aughters Christmas present

Better than them buying an acoustic drum kit!

Agreed with this. My son had a cheap electronic drum kit and it was a hindrance to his learning as he really didn't enjoy playing it. Swapped it for a decent used acoustic kit (for not much more than this) and he's been flying ever since. Obviously there are considerations with an acoustic, noise, space etc. but if you can accommodate one it would be better to go for 'the real thing' than one of these.
