I got mine yesterday, I'm a size 12 but normally have to get a 13 in trainers so I was slightly worried ordering the 12's but no problem - they fit as well as I would expect. They are not huge compared to some 12's but they are not too small which is the key for me! Used them on our new local pump track last night and wow, they are excellent - so much more grip on my pedals than my old trainers. Just debating whether to order another spare pair for when they wear out. :D
Just got mine delivered. Very nice. I'm usually an 8.5, ordered 9 and they fit perfectly.
Adidas now own Five Ten, find it hard to believe they'd be worse than beforehand. Excellent MTB shoes!
Only goes up to size 12, of course...
Thanks. What are they like for just general wearing as I don't plan to climb or cycle MTB?
For rock climbing, because it's not exactly obvious.
Will these help me climb off the couch?
Thanks. Two ordered (his and hers!). Hopefully they'll fit as they should be just the ticket for giving it a go again after many years without spending too much.
This harness is as good as any £50 harness. Other harnesses around this price don't have the front loop to attach a carabiner. This is just reduced and rrp is £75ish
I know nothing about safety harnesses what so ever but I would not be scrimping on one if did need one lol
looking for a deal on a safety harness? curtains. heat added ;)
The image isn't about helmets, it's making fun of the belayer cause apparently he's giving out too much slack - imo it's fine cause it's not going to make a difference till it's clipped.
Ye, posted a rucksack other day, got one myself and its quality. Harness as well I've posted which is amazing for the price, bought harness for my dad.
Have bought from them couple of times before, good deal
Thanks OP, great price and it looks like they have some decent other offers.
You wear a helmet regardless outside in any climb. Lead climbing doesn't make it any different just climber can fall if not clipped in to first quick draw. Not indoors though for me anyway.
They sent email that too many orders place and they could fulfill my order
These were out of stock when I went to buy today. However the lime green is back on their site. Just ordered. Hopefully they have stock and won't get cancelled. Heat added for awesome deal.
Mine has been dispatched but ordered before posting on here. Lol, hopefully not in trouble for getting their website flooded ;)
I hope some of you were lucky. I missed out: "Dear X, Thank you for the recent order #1000XXXXX. We are very sorry to say we have experienced a technical issue with regards to the deal Edelrid rucksacks recently advertised. We were externally linked to by a number of deal aggregation websites and the increased traffic generated was considerably greater than amounts we'd normally expect from a standard advertising push via our newsletter and social media pages. According to our website hosting, the traffic was so far in excess of usual levels, stock flow between the website and our stock management system was not updating fast enough. This has lead to some overselling, which unfortunately includes your order. These rucksacks were a clearance deal and we are afraid to say no further stock will become available. We have already taken action and cancelled and refunded your order. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience. A unique discount code which gives you 10% of any order over £50 can be found in the subject title of this email, we hope this goes some way to alleviate any inconvenience/disappointment caused. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email us: email@example.com Once again, our sincerest apologies. Rock + Run"
Neither is this? That said my berghaus one (pulsar 32) has only ever been damp in extremely heavy downpours, it does go through the wash with the gore-tex jacket though and re-proofed at the same time twice a year. Been using it every day for work for over 2 years now.
R&R regularly do great deals and this is another stonking deal. I expect t to go cold though because not trendy brand and more than £20
I think this is SPAM.
tend to be on the large side these from my experience , just a heads up
I agree. Why cold? Everyone gets one vote. No vetting system other than minimal motor skills and Internet connection are required. Quite frankly it is a terrible system, but better than every other one tried so far.
Ordered! Thank you OP! No idea why this is cold, complete bargains!

Got one just in time
OOS already :(
I am a size 8 and bought a size 8 fit is perfect for me.
Hi, how do these come up size wise? As a 8/8.5 will 9 be fine? Cheers.
Scarpa nitro GTX same price http://www.rockrun.com/deals/approach-shoes/scarpa-nitro-gtx Bought these 2 weeks ago excellent pair of shoes.
They would have done if it was in stock. However, as was proved, coats like this wouldn't stay in stock long enough for GoOutdoors to price match!
Wouldn't go outdoors price match and beat by 10%?
Out of stock now
Alpkit.com have something very similar for the same price (give or take a tenner). Is Rab gear as good as it used to be?
Fortunately for my wallet, the size XL jacket is now out of stock :). I am sure the silver would be fine - however, I much prefer the understated colours in the Rab range (particularly the dark blue). Anyway, it is an excellent price - so good find!
I bought a pair of gelert from sports direct 19.99 and soles wore out in 3 months, binned... a lot of pavement walks but would have expected better.
Stonking price,I use these daily in autumn/winter for work ( postman) great footwear, heated
Great price, heat added
Ladies version same price £54 http://www.rockrun.com/deals/approach-shoes/scarpa-nitro-gtx-womens
If voting cold, please explain why. It would help me to avoid wasting my time in posting future deals...
Lol. There is no right or wrong way. On different days at different times the same deal can be hot or just stay luke warm. Just ensure price shown is what everybody pays and includes delivery charges. Possible discounts can be shown in the description. Avoid posting winter car tyres or One Direction deals and ignore the negative comments. Good luck.
+ £4 delivery!
Thanks Rhino - the women's are listed here: https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/scarpa-reflex-womens-climbing-shoes-30-rock-2103155
I think you would have been better to have listed the womens at least they are of a common size & just mentioned the mens in description but to be honest climbing gear doesnt get much support on here. Its a good sport & I miss it due to being a full time dad but hopefully when my son is 5 we will start going together.
Size 40 & 48 only thats about a 6 1/2 & a 12 1/2 UK could it be more extreme in sizes?
Yeah I definitely wouldn't do a mara in them haha...Did 10 miles on road in them last week and they were fine but I imagine another 4 or 5 miles on the road and they'd start to be uncomfortable
I got a pair of these from Amazon a few months back (for about £70 :() - great on grass, mud, gravel etc - and you'll have no problems for road, but you probably wouldn't want do do a marathon in them.
You'd be fine wearing these or any trail shoes while road running. The main difference is usually just the thickness of material used and therefore trail shoes tend to be heavier.
Thank you - brilliant deal ( no you don't change your shoes when you get out of the mud lol!)
Can you run on the road in these, or would you carry them until you got to the muddy bit?!
Mother in law uses these to remove her ear wax. :(
Weapon of choice for zombie apocalypse! And a grade III gully of course.... Bargain.
No murder jokes? I'm surprised
yeh got them off aliexpress, i wont be trusting them on anything technical but they will do for winter walks up the hills like these ones www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400778930619
Are they the ones that look like Grivel crampons by any chance? ive seen some on ebay which look pretty much the same at a much cheaper price
Thanks for this, needed for next weekend's Race To The Stones! Couldn't come at a better time! Noticed 16 unique 5/5 reviews on the site as well, and generally good reviews elsewhere, seems a bargain for a good shoe.
Mine arrived this week. Very please with quality and the size was bang on. I normally wear a Brooks 45 but I also have a pair of Scarpa approach shoes again 45 so went for the same again. Well break them in walking the dog for a week before giving them a real go. Tempted to pick up another pair..
Thanks I've updated the post.
Down to £30 now
£34 delivered for ladies version Linky
I'd never use one but it's gotta be a deal. Deal = heat surely? Does in my book anyway
Available to pick up in store and £7.45 delivered is still a good price.
Because of the £2.95 delivery charge on a £4.50 item?
Decent price, not sure why people are voting this cold.
