Likely non boost only, otherwise a great price for a choice of 130/150/160mm suspension

Yes it's non boost, but for me this is exactly what I need as I have a 2016 frame which is non boost. There are a lot of boost forks out there but very few non boost now. It's surprising given boost is what 2-3 years old at most (?) but is now the standard it seems.

Great fork for the price, I have the 160mm which has been amazing for the last three years. Boost/non boost if you don't already have a wheel it doesn't really matter I guess.

Yeah true, although a wheelset may be boost or non boost, unless you can pick and choose or built to order

Or you already have a good set of non-boost wheels and don't want to change them for no reason!

There is that People get so hung up on the "latest" standard.
Good price shame no debonair though.

The main benefit is slightly wider clearance and wider tyres although the 27.5+ fad appears over.

The main change for me in the last few years is going wider on the internal rim which allows a far better profile on tyres, my old hope 23mm internals were horrible rims, now running 28-30mm and the grip feels so much better, with zero squirm

I've been riding the 2016 pike for the last two years. Great all round fork. You can change travel by replacing the air shaft. Even better option is to upgrade to a debonair spring. Only 30something quid.

Done the debonair upgrade on my Yari forks and a service was straight forward.

These forks are a pleasure to service. And the spring replacement is as simple as humanly possible. No proprietary tool needed which is always a bonus.
The charger damper may be a tougher nut to crack and its approaching the service interval.

I agree, I have the 2016 on reign of the same year, Running spank 395+ wheels. The have 2.5 and 2.6 minions on. It's a close fit but for the year or so they have been on, there have been no problems. The reign suffered a bit with "squirm" as you perfectly put it. New stiffer wheels sorted it out. It's much more confident.
