Rocksmith 2014 for £5.24 after using the voucher code

**Site claims this is a steam key (NOT UPLAY) I haven't actually bought this myself from this site, but just thought I would give a bit of a disclaimer**

feel free to ask me any questions!

Rocksmith 2014 is a music video game produced by Ubisoft. It has been described as a replacement to the 2011 rhythm video game Rocksmith rather than a sequel. The game's main focus is the feature that allows players to plug in virtually any electric guitar or bass guitar and play.

You still have to login through uplay unfortunately. It is great though, especially at that price, just need a cable.

What is the problem with Uplay?
I have only played the original Rocksmith on ps3 so don't know about problems with the pc version.

Great game. Don't see the problem with it having to connect through Uplay. I bought mine on Steam and once it loads it just connects to your account (which is no hardship and never caused me any problems).

Bargain price (assuming you already have the cable which i did from the original on the 360).

While i agree the Uplay is intrusive and a bit "****", its fine in Rocksmith2014 you just have to log into once, and it will leave you alone, or if you dont log in it will hassle you everytime you launch the game (your choice), nothing to serious!

Excellent. Thanks!

HALLO!

Don't forget you need a specific cable for this game which will cost you at least 3 times what you'll be paying for the game.

bought, got a guitarport in a draw somewhere, read you can use that instead of a tone cable. Worth a go but cracking price

Very worth getting. Also there's 14000+ songs on Custom Forge, made by the community with songs getting added daily, all free of charge

Worth noting that the songs released as DLC aren't offered for free on Custom Forge. So you will have to pay about £2.50 each for a song.

There's probably like 150 official DLC songs so there's still 14,000+ songs that you can download and play for free

seems like a great deal but a quick Google puts the cable at about 20 quid, anyone aware of a better price?

Purchased thank you, now to grab that cable?

I got my cable by buying a cheap used version of Rocksmith from Ebay that included the cable. I kept the cable and sold the game, as it was the Xbox version, anyway. By doing this I managed to get the cable for about £15. The cable is same for all versions, Xbox, PS and PC one.

You could also search for just the cable on Ebay, I did a quick search now and there were some for ~£20.

So Steam don't mind you playing these "custom" songs? I don't want to get banned! Thanks

Not at all. Thousands of people do it, no problems. It's pretty much just modding/adding content, nothing wrong with that as long as it isn't cheating. You don't have access to songs that are official DLC unless you pay for them.

Bare in mind you do have to buy 1 DLC to get the custom DLC to work. "Cherub Rock - Smashing Pumpkins" is what you need to buy then you have access to over 14000 songs. Pretty cheap and it's very worth it if you ask me.

Thanks had cable from original RS couldn't resist this

I gave up on the custom stuff as i found it a bit hit and miss and it stops you being able to get the achievements and official things as you have to hack the game a bit. Unless i was doing something wrong obviously!

I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but I have entered that code and it has taken it from £19.99 to £14.99.. how exactly is it £5.24?
