Ordered, had 2013 for pc and I'd say it is worth it. Really helps you learn

Hows the latency with this game on next gen consoles? I might buy this

If you only have HDMI audio then don't bother, Optical is much better but not as good as analogue. If you want the optimal experience then play it on PC with the onboard sound chip (not PCIe as that introduces latency) or the PS3/Xbox 360 versions with the analogue audio out.

Bit confused, bought this for my daughter for Xmas on Xbox One as she's a learner, we have electric guitar and speaker/amp, smart tv with lots of connections of which xbox uses HDMI into Tv and then sound goes from tv to HTS kit via tv headphone out jack to Phonos (as its old). Will this be bad latency wise then?

The other option is she can wear the Turtle Beach wireless headphones that are connected to xbox via its optical out if that's the best solution?

was £10 on Tesco Direct recently...if you managed to catch it for the ten minute period before it went out of stock

It helps you get started and because it's a game you're more motivated to play it than reading a book or watching a youtube video. But I still struggle moving between certain chords (googling helped with certain chords) but it's as much about daily practice than anything else (which I don't get time to do).

Should be ridiculously hot! Meant to be exclusive to Amazon and £55 (which I bought it for). More expensive digitall - without the cable. Bear in mind if upgrading that the import tool for original rocksmith songs doesn't appear to be working and there's all sorts of trouble downloading dlc on consoles currently. Good for newcomers though, obviously wanted to get it out on newer consoles before Christmas

Wired through the optical port is the only way to play this game, there is way too much latency any other way and it isn't playable. If you're a learner it just teach you to play in a weird way and it wont be good as you'll wonder what you keep doing wrong even if you're doing it right.

Even with the optical it isn't as good as the analogue with the PC or PS3/360, I notice I miss a lot more and several reviews have said the same thing.

The best place to play is on the PC, you can upload custom tracks too, there is a whole website community around it.

So is this the UK release or a European import?
