Best price at the moment... I'm tempted to wait but I think this is a good price!

Flames OP, great price.
I think if you have a choice (i.e. Don't need to buy one right now because your current GPU has failed) then you are best off waiting

Rumours abound that Nvidia will launch their next cards (1180?) in the next month or two.

despite the CEO saying the release of new cards wont be seen 'for a long time' at Computex?

there have been rumours all year and nothing has surfaced so i wouldnt personally keep waiting if you are looking to upgrade soon.

August, paper launch, low volumes to retailers as it was with the 1080 release.

Everyone is starting to dump their 1080Ti's for £500 +/-.
Those rumours ^

which was meant to be April, then June, then July

i wouldn't count on it
Well they are not going to want to make an imminent release clear, unless AMD had competitive GPUs that force their hand. Why should they make it clear the new cards are imminent - it would reduce sales of their current cards and they have stock they want to get rid of...

I have no evidence for this, but I just suggested waiting because this is only a relatively good price, nothing amazing. We are all still overpaying even at this price due to the markup from miners etc driving up GPU prices.
