I get "This eCoupon is linked to another customer account and it can only be used in that account." Will they not get a bit miffed with everyone asking for them to honour the coupon?

What you need is one of these

I did this a couple of days ago.

Ordered two Roku 2 's for £31.20 each - they also include the 3 month entertainment pass (which I will sell on).

Had to contact customer service and send them a screenshot of the offer to get it sorted though.

No History channel (history channel is hardly ever about history anymore anyway!) But you do get Discovery

This is the 2013 Roku 3 rather than the 2015. Still heat for this price though, might have to get one.

Perfect, I had a magic eye before with cable running from back of sky box downstairs to the one in the bedroom, this sound like a much neater alternative

Does anyone have a link to the deal? oO

Haha, brilliant

Can you get kodi xbmc on this?

What's the difference between this 2013 edition and the 2015?

Can you get the same deal on the Roku Steaming Stick? Thinking I might go for one of those instead as even with 20% this still seems a bit pricey. Is there anything major I would miss out on with the stick over this?

I know this has a headphone socket on the remote and some kind of gaming motion controller too but is there anything decent that actually makes use of it?

if you are user of android, history channel is on Mobdro (google it)

What extra functionality does one of these have over a now tv box? I'm struggling to see the difference other than cost!

Now tv is a rebranded Roku LT by Sky,with alot of restrictions..for example you cannot install private channels,or even netflix,etc..
Roku 3 has much faster processor and is much improved.so you are not limited to Now TVs restrictions, you can install loads of extra channels, netflix, etc.and it will perform much faster and better than Now TV.
Also the remote in improved and has voice search and the handy headphone socket.
It's definitely much more capable and faster than now tv.

Edited by: "Tequila" 4th May 2015

The ability to have netflix doesn't seem like its worth the extra money from a £10 or £15 nowtv box to me. Unless there are extra useful channels. My nowtv boxes are not noticeably slow either navigating from the plex server or the built in channels and have all the on-demand terrestrials already.

Personally speaking I find the Ethernet port the biggest selling point for the roku3.
Taking a wireless network out of the equation for high bitrate media content is wonderful.

I thought Sky's NowTV Boxes were rather re-branded RokuLT Boxes?, & not Roku2 Boxes instead?, or ..... :-)

Why do I get "This eCoupon is linked to another customer account and it can only be used in that account."
when I try to use that code???

Can you attach a hard drive which will then be accessible across a network?

No, sadly not, the roku3 really is just a client but a really good one.
It's best used as a plex client using either the rarflix channel or the beta plex preview client (sadly only available for plex pass subscribers).

Anyone know if this unit will receive internet radio stations?
