You should be able tostream live TV to this Roku if you have something like HDHomeRun or Dvblogic.
I got one at Christmas, I've had a Chromecast, firestick and now TV box, but this stick has everything on it..... Netflix, Amazon video, now TV, plus catch up services
Look good, but...

Will it play h.265?
These are great!

If you have Netflix then the quick button loads in seconds - far better than my old Fire Stick

I've got Google films, Ratuken, Amazon video, Youtube, Now Tv, Shudder all on it and its very quick and snappy to use - defo worth £24 and I may get another
does anyone know if you there is a way to stream UV films through this? Flixster?
Thanks, been waiting for this offer again. Got an LT that is dying, about time it was replaced.
How does this compare with a Roku 2 in terms of overall responsiveness?
I like the fact that it's USB powered but don't want to improve convenience if the interface is noticeably more sluggish.
Good price but the firestick is much snappier to use.
Express model...
worth a punt
I have a roku stick and a fire stick. They are both good in their own way. I prefer accessing amazon video from my roku stick it is a much better format and easy to decipher between paid and free shows. BBC iplayer is poor on the roku but good on the fire stick. There has been a clampdown on roku relating to private channels but it is still a great streaming option.

If it's the 3700 I'd avoid, but I think it's the 3900 so seems good for the price. Certainly the ones in store are the newer model.
I've got an older Roku stick and it's handy to have access to all the major streaming services on one device. Less good is the fact that Roku simply haven't bothered to support 50hz even though the hardware is clearly capable of it (see the NowTV devices), so most footage is a bit jerky with panning shots and I find sports are almost unwatchable! Very frustrating.
Bought one at this price on Amazon before Christmas for same price but now £29. Fantastic device! Does Now, Netflix & Amazon! No other sticks do. Also has a search option, so just type in the film you want and looks up all the streaming services for it, rather than going into each to find. & if you press the home button, takes you straight to the devices rather than having to switch channels on your TV remote. Thanks for this, just bough a second for upstairs!
Can you cast to this device? I hate that you can't play Youtube from your phone/tablet on the Amazon Fire Stick since they removed the app
sold out
I was tempted by this but it's out of stock.

Pretty sure you can. I have an old roku LT and I'm sure I've seen my brother cast to that, and I can cast to my roku 3, so would guess so on this one as well.

Had an email saying mine is available to pick up, so time permitting I'll test it tonight for you.
Can you get kodi on these?

Certainly seems so, my brother was happily chucking youtube vids at it. Plex works too but only if plex is already running on the roku, otherwise it doesn't appear. The box is much quicker than the LT it is replacing, extremely noticeable. A damn good buy for £24 I feel.
Trying to decide whether to go for one of these or an android TV box for £40??

Depends what you want it for. I have both but never use the android box, I want something simple so the missus can understand how to work it! Deciding factor is probably kodi, if you need that go android.
Ice Cold, you definitely won't get 4k with it.Most reviews suggest its underpowered and laggy, and there is lots of competition for android devices, you could do far better even at this price point.

Horses for courses. This is remarkably simple to use, runs all streaming platforms and has a decent plex client. I've used many devices over the years and I always go back to a roku, so simple my mum can use it!

No its not a top end 4k streamer, but I don't have a 4k TV so.....
not available with that code from Tesco anymore sadly
