Which you can't really - this has the full Roku store on it.
I only use Plex on my NowTV box but this is good for those with Netflix et al.

Heated.

Amazon will doubtless be matching this pretty soon.........and won't be content until they've put yet another British company out of business.

Actually I think it's the same product underneath the Sky branding and lockdown!

There are several threads on here that may help, plus others on the wider web.

Chromecast owners thread: hotukdeals.com/mis…778

"Best cheap media streaming device?": hotukdeals.com/ask…622

"Chromecast or Now TV?" hotukdeals.com/ask…190

It's been £28.99 on Amazon before - hotukdeals.com/dea…505

EBuyer seem to be the cheapest at the moment though.

Does this support Mira cast / streaming from tablets?

Their website is really vague and useless about what you can actually get on their devices

from roku website

Early Amazon reviews say no ITv player or 4OD on this device and the reviews on e buyer are over a year old?
Do you get these or not? And is there an accurate up to date list anywhere?

Is that definite? Can't find it on the blog or the website. I'm sure you're entirely right, but I'd need to be sure.

Chromecast seems better than this, and now you can mirror the whole screen from Android devices and can cast any videos via the chrome browsers on laptops etc I'd opt for the chromecast

They are available on NOW TV

They are on NOW TV box so it's a 99.9% yes as roku store is even better on the ROKU LT.

Same box with lots stripped from the board. Can't do as much with the NowTV version as you can with this.

I have the chromecast &ya now tv box, I prefer the now tv as you have a dedicated remote, you don't have to fiddle with a tablet or phone to make it work. I was looking at one of these when it was £29 from Amazon as it would do Netflix and all the terrestrial channels, then Now tv updated their channel list and you can get all the main channels now. So if that's what you want it for save £20 and get a nowtv box.

These are good if you have an old TV without an HDMI port. On a CRT TV its not HD, or even SD, but its better than nothing. You can load one custom channel using the developer mode. There is a Youtube channel now.

Steaming hot from me. These are great little devices. Might want to add Amazon to your title too OP, stop someone else stealing your thunder

Must admit I thought this was the nowtv box except the change in colour. I've 'unlocked' it and put plex on it to stream videos and music to an old CRT. It's replaced the sumvision with the awful remote for £10 (plus the lead from CPC).

This one doesnt have a ethernet port? Does anyone know which one does?

Now £44.99 plus delivery on ebuyer

Bought this for £28.90 from Currys online in December (hop on my time machine folks!). Great little box and updated with youtube, itv, 4OD and 5 players. Had a problem linking to a new router, tech support via email was very good. Discontinued model.

trust me, i'm a doctor.

OK - thanks. Went for it. But no status light. Mains unit plugged in, switch on, connected to Roku, HDMI connection to TV. All ready to go - but no status light.

As I understand it, that only mean a dead on arrival unit. Nothing I'm missing is there?
