Same price in most places what makes this price stand out?

Amazon is sold out, Currys is 5-10 working days delivery, Very charge for Click & Collect - and everywhere else this is £33+

So for this deal, BT offer delivery in 1-3 working days which will be quicker than most so there is that at least.

Thanks

That's the now tv sticks, not these, these are roku and can add apps as you want, not connected to sky at all.

Can you put apps on it like catmouse or livenettv? Or should I just stick with my android box that does?

Cheers
I dont know how it can be 4k streaming stick, if max what i can get from wifi - 45mbps, but some rips can be up to 100 mbps, so totally useless for 4k streaming. Fire TV 4k at least has decent wi-fi and even ethernet option

Which service is that then? Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, BBC etc are all well under 20mbps. This stick is for streaming services, not for people who waste 100GB storing a single film.

People who like good quality movies will store. I personally don't see reason to get that stick because you can get Fire tv 4k for same money with much more features and app sideload, this is a real power horse for 30 gbp. But Roku, no way. 2.4 mhz wifi, shame.
Isn't Chromecast better?

You don't need another device to cast from... it's not the same.

I thought Chromecast had everything this has built in and the casting is just something else it can do?
Other than firestick is there any other that that allows ethernet connection. Would Android TV box be a better option than these? Thanks

Nvidia Shield. I've got the 1st Gen and it's fantastic.
Just be aware that you cannot install a VPN app on a Roku stick. I returned one of these and went for the Amazon Fire stick instead. Ok the Amazon FS is only 1080P but at least I can use it to watch UK TV when I work or holiday overseas - whenever that might be now......

Can you do the opposite and use a VPN to get US apps and stuff?

I just downloaded the latest movies on utorrent and was watching them within 5 minutes - got skygo free and can watch youtube and any app or game direct to the teev - no idea why these things are so popular but i guess most folks dont have their computers as the centrepeices in their lounge!
Thanks, ordered!

Yeah but i can stop the movie with a mouse click whilst i go for a cuppa , move it back/forward a second or a minute without having to faff with remote control no batteries used so saves money, can browse the net while i am watching on multiple screens loads of benefits to using pc or laptop - dont even have my chromecast connected anymore and besides its all HDMI so no faffing with surround sound issues and can apply my dolby atmos or alter the screen colour mix etc with the mouse - got the full divx package last night so can apply loads of surround templates - quite impressed last night watching THE PLATFORM with divx usually use VLC try doing that with a plugin dongle.

I like using a keyboard and mouse even have a couple connected to my new Xbone!

The Roku website give you a comparator. The remote on the pricier version allow you to have voice command and use it to switch the telly on as well as changing the volume.
