Mine went icy at £69
lets hope there's heat for this. Heat
Great bit of kit and halfway house for those who aren't tied to Apple TV, Chromecast, or Firestick.

Hahaha... I did realise that before posting but thought I'll post it anyway
I would order the one@£47 from Amazon. Com
This supports hlg version of HDR. So if your 4k HDR TV isn't on the BBC iPlayer compatible list. You could use this to get blue planet 2 in uhd.
My Sony bravia TV from this year and Nvidia shield costing nearly £100 more than this both not supported! Think the shield will be updated eventually to support
I've expired mine. Best of luck. It deserves to be hot.
Does this really supports 4K streams? My Sony Android TV (built in on TV) has started showing signs of bad lags and thinking of getting an external box to stream 4K.

Thanks...

I bought mine from amazon US, it took a few weeks but I got the postage refunded because they missed the delivery date and half of the import tax refunded too, worked out around £37 all-in. not bad for having the voice remote and contrary to what I've read, it loaded iPlayer fine for me.
Comon. Get super toasty. I'm basking is your reflected glory deepu.

It won't be your TV . It is your internet connection. If you use wi-fi it will definitely lag.

I can't blame the internet this time The TV is just next to the router and I'm having a 300mbps connection from Virgin.

Im still thinking should I get an Android box or a roku that I've always wanted to have....

You can install iPlayer fine, but did it actually run? I bought mine from Amazon US and iPlayer installs but trying to run it displays an error on iPlayer that the device is unsupported. If yours actually runs, when did you try this? I last tried mine a couple of weeks ago I think.

Do you have a Sony AV system in your setup or just the TV?

Just the TV that has the built in Android UI... Got a bit laggy lately and some apps keeps crashing occasionally...

hmm, now that I think of it I haven't actually played anything - don't watch anything on BBC so it's never been a issue, I'll try it tonight and report back.
