sorted byPlanet Coaster feels like a safe bet
Parkitect is definitely worth a look. I'd describe the lineage as Theme Park -> RCT1 -> RCT2 -> (nothing for about 20 years) -> Parkitect. I've played Planet Coaster too which whilst enjoyable, reminded me more of RCT3 which I'd rather forget exists. If you really want to live like it's 2002 OpenRCT is a fantastic project.
Excellent value, well reviewed too.
The controls are a little fiddly to be honest when you first get started but once you get the hang of it, it’s a really really great port at a fantastic price
RCT1 was this best. This is nothing like the original.
Definitely, in all walks of life.
I haven't played the Switch port, but I played this endlessly on the PC for many, many years. With the expansion packs (included in this complete) edition, it is, to this day, really really hard to beat as a theme park simulator. Some will say Planet Coaster is better, I definitely can see that for sure. But if you want something a bit older school, then this will provide many hours of enjoyment. This isn't a cheap mobile type tycoon game, nor a later cash in using the name - this is the real deal. So much fun to be had. (edited)
Yes.
Don't worry, we get to be allowed to pay like £20 for a port of a game available for a couple of quid on other platforms
I bought my switch for some handheld gaming and animal crossing, and it rarely gets used for anything other than AC and MK these days, Nintendo are worse than EA in almost every regard in terms of pricing and strategy sadly.
Occasionally a good deal comes up, but the store is 90% shovelware these days.
Looks great! Looking forward to it! Thanks
Go on then go on then!
Controls is what could make or break it for me
Two Point Hospital is available now, made by some of the devs who were involved with Theme Hospital. It's just as good!
It's not as nice as using the mouse, you can either use the analogue sticks or use the the D pad to move a cursor around. They have made a bit of an effort to make it accessible for such controls, but if it's the kind of thing that annoys you then look for the PC version.
Mario Strikers, Fire Emblem Warriors, The Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion (hyped).
That's just for June
And the new xenoblade chronicles game.
Ohh baby, that's July but still, my wallet is not ready!
Guess I better complete Xenoblade 2
You’ve crossed the line. I won’t have criticism directed towards the pink fluff clouds!
Check out the YouTube review in the description above, they are a trusted and honest review site.
It is detailed In the review link and the YouTube review
Do you still get the people with inflated heads?
Can’t speak for switch version… but I loved RCT2… took me a while to get used to working in 3D, but once I did I loved RCT3.
Don’t buy anything else RCT though… it’s all trash except 1,2,3.
After that, planet coaster
You might also want to look into parkitect… not sure if it’s on switch though (edited)
Some think its the worst game ever, some think its the best RCT ever. Its very, very polarising.
For me, its the best one (if you include the expansions), it was all downhill after that (no pun intended).
