what the human ones ? lol
It's not as good as the one on sale at lidl from today, and it's only £1.99, or 3 different sets for £5

It's advertised as an "adjustable" spanner, where I'm from all "adjustable" spanners are "adjustable"
If it's drop forged, it's not chrome vanadium which means it's not worth having (basically)

I disagree. I'm old enough to remember when chrome vanadium tools were very expensive and most amateur mechanics bought cheaper alternatives. Used carefully and not too often cheaper tools are usually perfectly OK.

I have a 1982 Halfords socket set which is not chrome vanadium, but it has served me well for 36 years on all the cars and motorbikes I've had in that time. Like most people I could now afford a chrome vanadium set, but why replace one which has been OK for decades and will see me out?
Rolson stuff is very poor quality and an adjustable spanner doesnt need that handicap..

Well OTOH, I've had drop forged sets of sockets which I've completely rounded off certain sockets and so thrown them away or the square bit has simply broken off rendering the whole set useless. I did this a few times before I hit on chrome vanadium sets. Maybe you've been gentler with yours? My nuts and bolts always seem to be well rusted on and determined to resist to the end!
