seen these in homebase (selby) £1.99

According to the reviews on Amazon, these spanners are prone to bending. I've nothing against cheap tools, which are ideal for occasional use, but there's no point if they aren't fit for the purpose they're intended. In my experience that applies to pretty much anything branded Rolson, but there may well be exceptions.

Rolson tools are naff.... u might as well take a walk to McDonalds

did say may be ok for light work such as odd little jobs around the house or bikes. Problem you get with some people is that they expect to be able to do full on mechanics with mickey mouse tools.

If you going to spend something on a tool set then I would make it worth the while. Small jobs or big jobs I rather have something that I can trust and not going to break down on me half way through the job....
