This looks a lovely little trip that allows you to explore Rome, Sorrento and Naples including a visit to Pompeii. It includes all public transporation buses, ferry and trains and also entrance fee to Pompeii so you have an accurate price. You can drive but public transport seems so much easier and cheap.

On 24th Feb you will fly to Rome. Here you will stay at the gorgeous Hotel de Monti for 4 nights. It has fantastic reviews and is centrally located.

On 28th Feb you will catch the afternoon train from Rome to Naples and on to Sorronto. This looks easy to do, on Trenitalia book the 1:56pm train for just €9 which arrives into Naples at 3:41pm. It's then another short train journey and you can buy your tickets upon arrival from the same station (trains run every half hour) for €3.20 into Sorrento. If you wanted you could catch an earlier train (more expensive) and do Pompeii en route but then you would have to store your luggage at Pompei train station.

In Sorrento you will stay at the Vlisse de Luxe which has good reviews. You will stay here for 3 nights. On one day you can easily catch the train to Pompeii. It will cost €3.20pp each way. Entrance fee to Pompei is €11pp.

With the rest of your time you can visit Capri using the ferry or even overnight here.

On 2nd March you will take the ferry from Sorrento back to Naples. It should cost €11. You can book this in advance closer too as tickets are not on sale yet.You will then stay in Naples for 1 night but you'll have around a day and half to explore. You will stay at the Hotel Nuvo which again has good reviews and central location.

3rd March

Fly back to UK with Easyjet.

So this means you are away for more than a month? I can't see that all accom costs are included for this length of time so it's not really just for the price quoted in the post.

It is for the price in the post, 24th Feb til 3rd March all accommodation and transport. I think I put January in the main text changed it now.
Good price, just a shame I can't go.
Just noticed, you put Copenhagen in the original details. Guess you meant Ciampino for Rome.

Thank you Rachel and Gromit. Food for thought and great memories from this summer when I did similar (not on this budget! )

The circumvesiana is the train between naples and sorrento / pompeii I think. Has an awful reputation if you research it. I didn't have any issues last year. Keep an eye on your possessions though obviously.
By the way I think some of your later gbp - euro conversions went awry. 1.3 gbp to euro not vice versa

I can't see where I've gone wrong, can you help me out, I'm having a blonde moment. So where I've put €11pp the conversion is £15.84pp (that's converting €22 to £ using Google).
That's not a blond moment! That's doubling then converting into GBP like a pro! Apologies! Great contribution x
