I bought this at £4 at home bargains then saw it at that price in two other stores, so I think you are right. Its not a bad price, just a common price.

I did my fence with it years ago in our old house, and the guy next door just happened to be painting cresote on his, 5 years later when we were moving out mine was still brown so its good stuff any way,

The creosote must have helped in your case as after 1 year of being on, my fence looks like this with the Ronseal Red Cedar...

Suppose its cheap enough to re paint, dont think cresote is sold these days being solvent based probably not kind to our earth so a small price to pay

Creosote is only supposed to be available to tradesmen I believe for fence contracting. A lot of the small rural fence manufacturers sell it but its not cheap. I hear used car oil is pretty good for fences
Presumed cresote was bad for your health if the general public cant buy it it probably gives you cancer, do hope they dont stop selling bacon
