Only 20 hotels to chosse from
Children over 11 are charged Adult Rate!!!
Just phoned up to check if this was an error on site but told told it was correct
Book through the normal site and children are classed up to age 15 but no promotion

shame about the kid price

Businesses are getting ridiculous when they will charge adult rates. I'd rather dump down in a travelodge than give in to stupidity like this

you got it all wrong, from19£ per room, not per person, and you have double and triples (bunk bed) available

To clarify, the price is per ROOM, not per person.

From the ibis website:-

Maximum 3 people per room- Maximum 3 adult(s) per room- Maximum 2 … Maximum 3 people per room- Maximum 3 adult(s) per room- Maximum 2 child(ren) per roomChildren :From 12 years old, children are considered as adults

So, although once children turn 12 Ibis regards them as adults, you can still have (up to) 3 people in a room. The ROOM rate on this promotion is from £19, depending on dates and availability.

Actually, I think there are currently only 20 Ibis budget hotels in the UK so the promotion is available in all the hotels they have of this particular brand.

Hope this helps...:)

Not too sure what specific problems you're both having. Have just tried to make 2 separate bookings for different hotels on different dates - I got to the payment screen on both occasions without issue. See below for example:-

Order reference : 706422/2013-12-18Total charge : 22.80 GBPBeneficiary … Order reference : 706422/2013-12-18Total charge : 22.80 GBPBeneficiary : IBIS BUDGET LEICESTERPlease select a payment method by clicking on the logo. I used Chrome to do both - not sure if that's relevant or not.

If you could give some more detail about the specific problems you're having, perhaps I or others could try and replicate it and see if we can help...:)

Firefox for me. Didn't try any other browsers.

Not one single room for £19 in Belfast unfortunately oO Would have been a good deal to try out this nice looking Brand New hotel.

Thanks for the post anyhows largeruk

Thanks for the thought FWIW I'm using the latest version of FF.

Has anyone found any places in January in the three or four London hotels?

Maybe they're all fully booked anyway

No rooms for Brum, even Sundays!

Ah, it's from £19, so 21 quid for Sundays in brum, not that I want a Sunday

they have rooms but never at the offer price. must be a law against this. false advertising or something like that

Just did a quick check at their hotel near London City Airport. All dates in January seem to be available but lowest price room I could see was £38.95 - although there were quite a lot of dates available at this price.

Having looked at the Ibis intro page, it seems the lowest price for a room in any of the London hotels is £39. The "from £19" means they have differential pricing - so you can find rooms for £19 at their hotels in Leeds, Birmingham, Sheffield, Newport etc. but higher prices in other locations eg. Glasgow, London.

If you're happy to stay a bit further away from central London and travel in by tube (c40mins), then you could consider their hotel in Hounslow where there is availability in January for £26.60 on several dates.

Anyway, hope this helps..:)

To be fair, they do have rooms available for the quoted £19 (eg. many dates in Jan/Feb at their Leicester hotel - was the first, and only, one I checked that isn't in a major city) but I do take your point. The "from £19" is clearly a marketing ploy used by many retailers and service providers. The number of rooms, available dates and locations to which the £19 applies is bound to be either limited and/or restricted to the less 'popular' destinations. Having said that, if you can find a combination of date/location/price/availability that suits, probably a good deal..:)
