Stocked up with these not long back. 12 bottles left and 8 left here of the grape. Lovely stuff.

It's a beer

Some people could have a serious night of drinking ahead
I usually don't like the root beer we get over here and prefer the American A&w or mugg etc. But I actually quite like this stuff! Heat!
Great price but I believe they are always this cheap.
It cleaned my toilet a treat

Agree. Can’t find anything that compares over here. Probably doesn’t help most of our stuff is sugar free now which doesn’t help with taste. Hopefully Boris will get a deal with trump and we can import all that kind of stuff.
Got some of the grape juice variety at the same price in Glasgow, nice and refreshing straight from the fridge.

This is the no added sugar version, it's the only version they do.

Always this cheap but only seem to stock them at this time of year, wish they had them all year round
Anyone know if they stock these in the south?

I’ve seen them in Hampshire before.
This tastes reasonable, the flavour is right but just a touch weak.
'tis goppin' but is cheap, the grape soda is nice though same price.

Root Beer as a whole, or this particular Root Beer?
It’s been in for a few weeks and this is the normal price. There’s cream soda too.
Mmmm taste like smell of germalinebut I love it
Not the best root beer. Prefer the stuff you get from Asda. But then both are terrible compared to US root beer.

Remember chancing tasting it in McDonalds here - probably 30 years ago. Seemed to get banished from McDonald's soon after. Was hopeful that Butler King or 5 guys would do it here.

Is it nationwide? Curious to try a new brand
Oooh,we had a whole pallet 2 weeks ago! I NEVER buy fizzy drinks, but I got 6 bottles of this! Shame its only a once a year thing!

Heat OP! 🔥
This stuff is weird - tastes like mouthwash!

Most US root beer brands have high fructose corn syrup which I consider worse than sugar for both health & flavour reasons. If you want to try something different, try Old Dominion which uses honey. Or for something with more spices, Virgil. Another option is Soda Folk.

South of where? Seen them in Devon.
EIO02/05/2020 20:10

I get Virgil from my local Sainsbury's, £1.90 per bottle

Me too,when I'm feeling flush.
Tried this, tastes like mouthwash. Maybe I got a dud?
luvsadeal02/05/2020 18:01

Thanks I went to one in Buckinghamshire and they had 10 bottles left
Worth mentioning, I don't think this is real root beer - like say A&W - but is actually a carbonated drink with root beer "flavouring".

Soda folk multipacks are on sale at Sainsbury's at the moment, and their root beer is very good.

Grape one is a bit better but not a patch on KA grape!

But then again nothing in the UK is as good as full sugar USA loveliness!
Jamie Oliver needs a good kick up the arris!

I don't dislike the other UK based root beers, but this one is much more like the ones you buy in America, I bought 200 bottles last July and am down to my last 4. So glad it's back. I will definately be checking my local stores for it.
