A gem found in passing. Bought eight.

Same here

I bought geraniums last year and they were great

Great rose if not the best climber, best get plants now from pound shops before they die through lack of refreshment.

My whole garden last summer was from Poundland. I found the bulbs were great, especially the mutli-pack that had about 50 bulbs I think.

So true! Most of the plants are either heated to death or starved of water. I am very annoyed as some of the plants are really lovely, and yet they all shrivel up like dead twigs!

No stock in Burnley

very attractive variety. My old neighbour has one in his front garden it looks stunning.

In my local the bulbs and dormant roses are inside, which shouldn't be watered really and the live plants are outside.

Ive bought some "Dirt" cheap plants at Poundland.Got a Photinia and a Clematis but they had loads of others.Well worth a gander

Be careful, last year I bought a white and a red rose from Poundland - they both turned out to be a horrible dusky pink - obviously you can't tell for ages!

I bought some lily bulbs a few weeks ago, packet says they start to sprout within 14 days. Its been about 6 weeks and still nothing!

I have been told by local plants selling shop
that poundland and 99p stores have stock which stays in their warehouses for quite a long time, they don't keep them at right temperatures and lighting that's why their plants/seeds/bulbs rarely grow healthily.
This variety of rose is amazing by the way .

I do Lillies in pots and force them to grow by bringing them indoors,Trial and error with them tbh.Your soil may be too acidic or too alkaline as well.Leave them and if they don't grow chances are they'll come through next year

Yeah, because a local plant shop is going to know the exact internal workings of Poundland :p.
Are you one of the people who buys the nonsense they talk in PC World etc?
