TV Aerial on sale in sainsburys.. Cheaper than a coat hanger.

Claims not to be compatible with 'digital' but I imagine if you are in a strong signal area it wouldn't be a problem..

"This indoor TV aerial allows you to get an analogue TV signal for a television where there isn't an aerial socket.

Please note: this aerial is not suitable for picking up digital signals and will not receive DAB signals and is not compatible with the digital switchover."

They had loads of ROSS branded electrical goods in the New Gloucester store including this aerial about a week ago, some other good bargains too!
You can't argue for a pound.

I bought this last week for a pound and plugged it into my daughters telly which has built in freeview and she is now receiving all the freeview channels.....previously she couldnt get any channels not even 1 - 5

bought this for my house at uni its currently hooked in my curtain rail and i receive every channel

I was looking for one of those, argos use to have em but not that model any more. Work really well with digital, bought a pull out one from the 99p shop but its not that good..

will go sainsburys and have a look.. thanks

Maybe his can cure my problem of not receiving some freeview channels (3,4,e4,itv2 and some others)

Can anyone purchase me one and id happily pay the postage costs?

Marked up as £9.99 @ Edgeware branch, will scan and see if it's the same price on the system.

(Sorry for double post, can't edit on mobile version of HUKD)

Scanned for a quid, bought the last 2 there to replace my indoor ones - my current ones have a 'booster' but even then the signal is not that great (London).

If these don't improve the signal then I'll either just return these or put them up on FS/FT.

By the way the ross indoor ones with booster was marked at £9.99 as well though I don't know how much they come to the till - perhaps worth checking out if they are clearing out all ross tv equipment... stuff.
Cheers,
Scar

My analogue signal switched off last week.

There's no difference between "digital" and "analogue" signals when it comes to TV aerials - the only problem that there could be is if the Freeview signals are at a different part of the frequency band from the analogue ones, and the aerial doesn't cover this very well.

None left in Newcastle Heaton store..
