Three cheers for lard eaters! They help keep population numbers down! Give us your address welche and I will buy you a tin! Lol. Happy eating mate!
I used to watch my Dad eat dripping on toast, eww, the jelly at the bottom was the best, apparently.

never smoked or drank stout though. she did service in a large house when she was young and had 7children. became chairwomen of the local district councel. had dinner with the queen a few times. had a friend who owned a farm and sold it to buy a castle in scotland.when my grandad died the queens couson came to the funeral. she then had a toy boy who unforntatly died a few years ago. and she got over a 100 grandchildren and great grandchildren and greatgreat granchildren. at xmas the whole family goes and visits on xmas morning and boxing day. and i still get told off for not seeing her as much as she wants all of us to visit. she not posh or rich and lived on a council estate.
she help loads of people and never was stuck up. i think the goverment heads in power in london should take a leaf out of her book.

I notice they don't tell you what the sausage ingredients are....no doubt mechanically extracted mush

I wouldn't even feed these to the dog

Half the price of the tinned dog food we usually buy.
Oh the childhood memories, where you could eat raw sausage meat and lick the cake mixture in the bowl..... glory days

Lingering death in a tin. Did you vote hot or cold?

By the late 20th century, lard had begun to be considered less healthy than vegetable oils (such as olive and sunflower oil) because of its high saturated fatty acid and cholesterol content. However, despite its reputation, lard has less saturated fat, more unsaturated fat, and less cholesterol than an equal amount of butter by weight.[
Unlike many margarines and vegetable shortenings, unhydrogenated lard contains no trans fat.
Oi Deek! Less of the freakoid!

Seriously who eats these? Just looking at them pictures made me want to puke.
If there was ketchup on the top picture of #21 it would look like some weird mutilated sausagefest.
These are the compo ration sausages we had in the forces in tins in 10 man ration packs in the 1980's they are fantastic and if ex servicemen could get hold of them they would be buying up loads of stock.
They come in tins with the lard in them so that we could empty them into a pan and cook away in the field. they are like skinless sausages and many of us simply boiled them in water.
