Blurb for 50m Airer - With a huge 50m of drying area, this 4 arm rotary airer is robust and comes with an easy to use umbrella clip operation. It's made from a steel frame construction and includes a plastic ground socket for securely fixing into the ground. The rotary airer is fully collapsible, allowing it to be easily stored away when not in use and it'll dry a total of 30kg of washing.

It's a Whirly Gig, not a Rotary Airer.

Can one of these things be put into a parasol base? (https://www.diy.com/departments/tobago-black-parasol-base/1851207_BQ.prd) I have a patio garden so putting one of these things in the ground not an option and had to deal with standing airers falling over on windy days!

I guess it would have to be a very heavy base as, with wet clothes on them, these can weigh a heck of a lot.
Does anyone know how big these are when up? The measurements on the site are for the box only, which ain't that helpful

I use mine in an iron parasol base it's not gone over yet
I have 35m ones for sale at £10 each. But b&m does them 35m ones for £15 most of the time
I have the Wilko 60m rotary airer and it's great. Well-made with enough line to cope with 5 loads of washing from our 7kg washing machine. It's also height adjustable and the rotary arms tidily clip in to plastic slots for storage. Bought it for £25 last year but £30 is still a good deal.

Gonna get myself one of these. Bargain at £10

I believe it's 40m of line space, not just across Someone will no doubt confirm or correct me, however! Just checked, 40m is three buses parked in your garden

I just got the £30 one (60m) it is great and includes the fitting to put it in the ground (you have to buy it separately with some).
The vileda one is brilliant value at £25 got one last week
I bought the 50m one but had to take it back and exchange for the 60m as it was too small. Anything below the 50m you'll properties struggle with 2 washing load IMHO.

Yes. As long as the base or really, really heavy incase of large gusts of wind, or you can secure it to the ground somehow.
Anyone know where I can buy one with a cover to stop birds pooping on my clothes?
I was about to buy one until the website refused to progress past the first stage of placing my order.
Can you get a soil spoke for these or does it need to be set in concrete?
