I think 50m is quite reasonable for a £100 watch. Welcome to get the real Tudor that this is ripping off if want all the proper functions

With the Tudor ripping off the Rolex GMT. What a world we live in
I am guessing this is a watch supplied exclusively to the Signet Group, hence their stores H Samuel and Ernest Jones are likely the only source. So MRRP and RRP are somewhat an irrelevance, more so than usual.
Its just a copy of the real Tudor.
I don't understand why watch brands can't just do their own thing, rather than imitating superior watches. You don't get a Vaxuhall pretending to be a Ferrari!

RRP is a little enthusiastic but for £100 seems pretty decent
It’s hard to get the full spec but H Samuel have the Rotary Henley (GB05108-04) at £160 and is very similar. But it has a Black bezel, 100m, a sapphire glass, a screw down crown and a nice deployment clasp. I am guessing this watch lacks all, which would mean the Henley is worth considering.

I would guess because some people don't want to spend £2000 on a watch (I do but hey ho)... just a guess...

An SKX009 is certified, and 200m iirc, and mechanical. And close to that price if you get it from creation etc.

edit: ah bum looks like skxs are shooting up in price...~150 lately

Tudor and Rolex are sister companies and it was a smart move.

'Oh sir you would like the Rolex Pepsi GMT? Unfortunately that will be an 8 year wait but look over here we have the Tudor Pepsi GMT available to take home today.'

I have the Tudor and personally prefer it to the new Rolex Pepsi. I don't like the new cerachrom bezel design with the larger numbers. I also don't have £14,000 to buy one off the used market or connections with a dealer to get me one at RRP. To be honest I can't even afford one at RRP, the Tudor was more than half the price.

What's your point? I don't want to spend half a million on a car, that doesn't mean I expect my Ford to look like a rip off Bugatti.

Yeah it says "Exclusive To H Samuel" on the page 36688563-EkGGx.jpgI have encountered a few Argos ebay Rotarys that I couldn't find much information on, and wonder if they supply Argos-only watches, as well?

Exclusive to H Samuels and also available at Ernest Jones. Absolutely with regards Rotary supplying Argos exclusive models, likewise I have seen models not available elsewhere.

Absolutely, no clarification needed and I only referenced it so folk could understand the connection between the two apparently separate businesses.

Silly comment, the VXR looks nothing like a Ferrari. It's an original design, unlike this knock off watch.

Tudor and Rolex were one and the same back in the day. It isn't ripping off the Rolex GMT
For less money you can get a Seiko powered Invicta diver with screw down crown, hackable movement and WR to 200m (although probably not certified).

Not voting on the deal as it's a nice watch, just throwing it out there as an option.

No, they're still owned by same company. Always have been. Tudor Rolex as it was known back many decades ago.
RRP is a joke... I feel bad for anyone who paid that.
I would have thought this was the normal price for this watch.

Isn't it that Rolex owns Tudor, not even sister companies/owned by the same company.

Regardless it certainly looks more like the Tudor in style, which whilst the Tudor isn't "ripping off" the Rolex (as it was obviously done with Rolex's support), the GMT Master is the defining watch when it comes to Pepsi bezels as far as I am aware (I am no watch expert).
