Listing states “swim proof (31m-199m)” .... I assume that is a horizontal distance not vertical.

I really dislike the rotary logo idk what it is
Our of interest, has anyone managed to work out the different between the 99.99 and 69.99 versions? (other than the minor cosmetic differences)

Debatable. Tudor pepsi is for those only willing to wait 1 year rather than 4 years.

I’m confused as hell with them. Rotary also do the Henley Pepsi GMT GB05108/30 which is a smaller 41.5mm and 100 meter water resistant :/

Thanks @wimbojimbo we have added this to today's Highlights
It’s a nice looking watch for a budget price! What would really do my head in though is as it’s a quartz and the second hand doesn’t line up with the markers! OCD nightmare!

They might line up! Is it as annoying as a cheap Automatic being 5 mins late/fast by the end of the week?

I think that's a misguided way to look at it personally. I don't own a Tudor, but I'm tempted by their chrono which I held in an AD a few weeks back and was super impressed with.

Tudor make top quality watches at a more reasonable price point. They are still very expensive by normal standards, so to imply they're a poor anything just seems a bit silly to me. Is an Omega a poor mans Rolex? Is Rolex a poor mans Patek? I don't think so. It just seems silly to rank them based on price, and Tudor has a great heritage of it's own beyond it's Rolex ownership.

I wouldn’t advise it as all that salt water when your diving will stain the leather.
Yes, I know that probably 1% of owners actually use them for diving 🏻

Probably not advisable to dive with a “swimproof” water resistance rating anyway.

Yea never dive with a 50m watch, bad bad idea. This just looks like a diver, I wouldn't risk it in a swimming pool.
Is that sugar tax free?

Or even an expensive automatic, which will lose /gain time anyway.

In principle yes, however that is assuming that you can first wrestle the leather strap off the Mrs. Hope that helps.

Unfortunately PP, Hublot, Etc. now make some of the least attractive watches to grace this Gods green earth. This appears driven by cashing in on those with seriously ridiculous wealth but no taste.
Whilst I agree that Rolex watches can be owned by some of the most crass individuals, there is no denying that the Submariner is a thing of beauty.

Sigh .. this isn't a sensible conversation is it....

So in summary every GMT that isn't a Rolex, or worth more than a Rolex, is a 'poor man' watch too you? If I would pick a Ferrari over a Mercedes given a free choice, the Mercedes is clearly a 'poor man' car right? Better hope your neighbor doesn't have an extension, you wouldn't want to be in the 'poor man' house!

You made a silly statement. Let's move on.
