This was on HUKD a few months back and went out of stock - however these are listed as "Used" - maybe customer returns? Have little experience of Argos Ebay's refurb items.

You can see the Automatic movement through the "Stars" on the (Mother Of Pearl) watch face, which is a nice touch.

Here's someone showing it off on a quick video clip: youtube.com/wat…WUo

User Manual: documents.4rgos.it/v1/…001 (though it seems just a generalised Rotary Watch manual)

Blurb from the ebay page I pulled these images from:

"This super stylish Rotary Ladies Stars Rose Gold Bracelet Watch is perfect as a gift. With a stunning silver stainless steel bracelet finished in rose gold and an easy to read dial with funky hands, this watch will really compliment any outfit.

The self-winding device for automatic watches keeps the watch wound while it's being worn. Off the wrist, it will keep running for between 24 to 48 hours. To restart the watch after this time, manually adjust the time and wind the watch 10-15 times and it will continue to function as it is worn."

Curiously, I can't see this model on the Rotary site at all. But here's some more info from different internet sites that sell this watch:

"Encircled by sparkling crystals, the white skeleton dial of this women's watch from Rotary reveals the automatic movement through two star-shaped windows. Additional crystals and rose-gold-tone indexes complete the look. A mineral crystal tops the rose-gold-tone PVD-finish stainless steel case that pairs well with the rose-gold-tone stainless steel case. A deployment buckle secures the women's watch.

- Case Diameter 34mm
- Case Thickness 11mm
- Bracelet Width 18mm
- Fits up to 7 Inch Wrist"

Well, you were the one who added "second hand", not Argos.

The only Argos ebay refurb item I can recall buying was a netbook (remember those?) for my mum, which was listed as being in a similar condition.

The box was a state. But the item itself had all the stickers, documentation and appeared as new - assume it was a return.

Assume this will be similar?
Somebody just bought 11 and there's none left
Automatic or Quartz. Op says Auto, Description says Quartz

Can't find the original Argos Ebay HUKD discussion of this watch - but it was confirmed as being an Automatic.

See picture from Post #1...the movement is also shown in the Youtube video clip (around 1:10) youtu.be/v81…=70 in the very first Deal post:

This is the previous Refurb price for this watch on Argos Ebay (a few months back) at £24.99 - but I'm pretty sure it was sold for New on a different listing (with HUKDers commenting) - can't find that thread, though hotukdeals.com/dea…442

Here's the Silver LB03735/07 version (not a great pic on this Deal post) for £59.99, New, 2 years ago or so: hotukdeals.com/dea…895

It IS an Automatic, there's no need to hope!

I thought I'd given you enough evidence

Refurb = secondhand no matter how you say it Someone bought it and then sent it back for whatever reason so you are the second owner. It is a quite nice watch though (_;)

Suppose I'm just tired of people being snide because they're looking for Likes.

I put all the information I could on here, and even gave my (limited) experience of Argos Ebay's Refurbs - so it's up the buyer if they decide it's a Deal or not.
Was away so had to get my Argos delivery redelivered Just to update and say mine looks "as new", no scratches or signs of use.."Rotary" retail boxed and the Automatic mechanism seems to work well, would make a wonderful gift for someone. The see-through underside, where you see the Automatic mechanism, has clear plastic protecting it.

So, YES, the LB03736/41 is an Automatic...but this model only comes with an Automatic mechanism...there's NO Quartz option, Argos have just mucked up their description (a la Amazon).

If it's not been powered up for a while you need to self-wind it 10-15 times.

I've added quite a few Argos watch deals over the last day or two, weirdly, this Rotary is back on their ebay page. Maybe they're digging some watches out the back of a warehouse?!

This one is New (not refurb/open box/return) and £37.99. ebay.co.uk/itm…387

The oldest HUKD post for this is from Argos brick-and-mortar stores from January 2015!! So it's definitely older stock.
