This looks like a pretty good deal for a beautiful watch which I bought for £70 in December when it was on sale. It is refurbished and comes with 12 months Argos warranty.

Argos is selling the same new watch for £99.99 + delivery so having it for £50 seems pretty good.

I don't know why it is getting cold votes as I have been waiting for this watch to be reduced for a long time and this is the cheapest price I've seen.

The majority of Rotary watches are now just Chinese made fashion watches...... what makes it worth £50 ?
The £100 that Argos ask for it is ludicrous.

Great looking watch thanks op

I believe this was £55.99 brand new recently and I wish I bought it then, however, I've decided to go for this deal as it's still a great price.

Nice one mate

So, do you mean that anything China made shouldn't have high price? You are probably not aware that there many top brands (including Apple) which are all using Chinese manufacturer for their products.

Rotary are about the same quality as Sekonda, watches that are also Chinese made. But Sekonda don't have stupidly high prices with even stupidly higher BS rrp..
Rotary are just trading off the name that once meant Swiss made..... there's more quality in a Casio now.

I have a Rotary, a supposedly 300mtr diver, although i'll take that WR with a pinch of salt..... I bought it from a deal on here and it cost £15, the RRP was around £100. But I'm under no illusions its anything of quality, and I know for a fact it isn't after I opened it to change the battery and saw inside it.

The only reason I can see to buy a Rotary is if you really like the look of it and it is really cheap.... but don't think you are getting a watch of any quality.

Also as this watch is a refurb..... its likely to have already been owned by someone and sent back to Argos under the 30 day return.
So you're not even getting a new watch.

If you're happy with it and the price you paid then that's all that really matters.......
But for £70 or maybe only slightly more you could get a Citizen Eco Drive..... and those are a good quality watch.
