Slightly cheaper at Amazon France (31,14 EUR versus Amazon Italy's 32,93 EUR) amazon.fr/gp/…WE/

Breakdown: Récapitulatif de Commande
Articles : EUR 31,14
Livraison : EUR 5,66

(Montant total : EUR 36,80)
Total du paiement : GBP 34.15

Amazon Italy, on my card, comes to:

Riepilogo Ordine Articoli: EUR 32,39
Costi di spedizione: EUR 5,66

(Totale ordine: EUR 38,05)
Totale pagamento:
GBP 35.31

However, if you have a currency-friendly card (I don't, just paying in GBP by debit card) you can get it slightly cheaper again, than the two totals above.

Good find. Never ordered anything from an EU Amazon... would I be asked to pay for taxes when it arrives into the UK?

No, we don't pay customs or any additional charges, just a UK postage charge (which I detailed above, in Post #1 - for both Amazon France and Italy they charge EUR 5,66 Postage to the UK)

Also, as Rotary are a British brand, they will likely get posted from the UK (as mine did last April, even though I ordered from Amazon Italy).

Not sure how the OP came to £29.60, though, unless it's a certain credit card.

I had one of these some months back but was £18. Lovely watch. Others available too. Fast delivery.

Yeah, there were Rotary watches (quartz and automatic) for £20-40 around April 2017. Amazon Italy and Germany had the best prices at the time.

British going on Chinese.

British going on Chinese.

Not sure why you're quoting my comment to another member about customs/tax/postal charges to the UK from an Amazon EU site?

If you mean Rotary are Chinese made, well, Watchuseek has plenty of discussions about them and think they're decent, as long as you don't spend a lot of money.

I was merely pointing out that they are a Chinese company not British.
Chinese/ British all good had mine for over 23 years and still working.

Not sure why you're getting shirty about being quoted; you mentioned they were British and so it seems appropriate that bigbaz replies, although you can choose to agree or disagree with the actual reply. I would side with you that they could be classed as a British brand, despite being Chinese owned: still headquartered in the UK (were originally Swiss).

None of this, however, necessarily dictates their quality and my dad still swears by them.

I only saw the top of my whole quote (I Edit quotes if I'm replying to a particular point) and wasnt sure what bigbaz meant - then I Edited my reply when I cottoned on. Not shirty at all. All is cool.

I didn't actually say whether I agreed or disagreed, as I don't mind what others think. As long as *I* like what I wear on my wrist!
