Hot. This watch sells for nearly £500 on Rotary's website (with the metal strap version) and is £236 on Amazon.
Swiss made - tick
Sapphire glass - tick
Good looking - tick
It's a winner.

Is it genuinely Swiss made or is it an off the shelf Chinese movement?

Also, I can't find anywhere that says this has Sapphire Glass so it probably doesn't have it. Doesn't seem like a very good deal with those things in mind.

You literally only have to paste the model number into Google to find that it does have sapphire glass, also any watch that says Swiss made, has to be made in Switzerland as otherwise it is breaking regulations.

Google is your friend........

I did exactly that and couldn't find a single Google result that said Sapphire glass... so by your logic it must absolutely not have sapphire glass. Plus legislation with regards to country of origin is a joke. I am not a lawyer but I'm pretty sure you can make any old tat anywhere and as long as the last thing you do is sew/print a label on it you can claim it was made wherever the last step was completed. So all in all I'm prepared to say this deal is overpriced Chinese junk.

The Les Originales range of watches are made to a high specification and feature sapphire glass and deployment clasps.

Ignorance is bliss I suppose.....

Looks a bit basic and why on earth do these idiots make a watch with the same colour dials as the facia? You might as well not have any dials. Cold for the squinting ting

Same model number just has the wrong picture displayed.

I also have the watch in front of me and can confirm it says on the casing that it is sapphire glass and you can clearly see from the way the light catches it, that it is indeed sapphire glass.

As I said, I did Google and I did see that page, but the model number is different (GB90151/06 vs GS90151/06).

If it's the Argos version in front of you then it's good to know that it does have Sapphire Glass, to get it on a watch this sort of price is nice. I was just after confirmation, online it honestly it doesn't have that model number listed with Sapphire glass anywhere that I looked.
