Looks to be a very good price for a decent soundbase, to me.
Now discontinued, but Roth are fairly well repsected and these used to £300-£350.

Looks very good at this price, well spotted Knight!
Racking my brains as to which room in the house I can put this in. I have a full 7.2 Roth setup in the front room. I don't need it but am I going to buy it ? Yup

You know this was exactly what you were looking for at the start of today

Don't rush to buy it's been this price since April
i need something like this but bigger I need to be able to put my 55inch sony tv on it and my sony 4k player (that's currently slotted under my tv ) as my tv stand/unit doesn't have shelves it has drawers in the front
I bought one of these a couple of months ago, I especially wanted something with a bit of bass but not so much to annoy the neighbours. Very happy with it for 80 notes. If you want heavy bass look elsewhere or allow for a separate subwoofer to plug into this.

Do you sit the TV on top of it?
Guessing it's down in price because of its age and the hdmi passthrough will only be 1080. No mention of resolution on the Amazon page

Yes, it sits very well with my old plasma TV, my old sky box, and my old PS3 😁

Review of Roth neo 6.2

This review mentions 4k pass through, also has arc so still fairly relevant connections. I like the inclusion of a sub output. If I could hear one, I might consider it. Though it's unlikely to be as good as my Samsung ms650

What is the sound really like, is it a massive improvement over just the TV speakers, or just a small improvement? Can you give any more info please?

Yes, a huge improvement, easily £80 worth all day long. It's reassuringly big and heavy, and for 5 year old tech I'm amazed at the connectivity it has (which I needed because my plasma has no HDMI out). You'd probably get the same sound out of much smaller units these days but I like the fact that it looks a bit quirky. If I'd paid a couple of hundred quid I'd still have been happy, so for this price it's a bargain.

The only reason I didn't post this on hukd myself is because if anything went wrong with it I wanted to be able to get another one!

Thanks, I should have searched but didn't have time.
I forgot to mention the sub out. Should help the folks saying it lacks punch.

Wish the Samsung's would fit my space as they sound fantastic
I have Roth Bar 3 sound bar they are awesome even after 7 years

Thank you.
Anygood with a pc? Currently using logitech z750?
Looking at the dimensions this is only 650mm wide yet it says it can accommodate a 60" TV. Won't the legs of a 60" TV be much wider than this? If so how would you use it with a TV that size?

For example pretty much every LG TV listed here has legs wider (even 32") lg.com/uk/…ons

Don't own one to confirm but i'd guess you couldn't, if the legs are physically wider than the sound base then it just isn't going to sit on it. I'm guessing they are assuming all TVs have the (old) design of one central base, which now isn't true, especially for larger sets.

You can of course buy VESA stands for TVs that do give you the central base, which presumably would work ok with this. Personally if I was using one of these I think I would feel safer just locating it on a shelf under the TV or something as even if the TV would sit nicely on the sound base, the weight of 50-60 inch TVs is not inconsiderable, even the thinnest ones....

All true, but I wouldn't worry about the weight of a modern TV on top of this, its very substantially built.
Got one. It's very very good for the price. Read the reviews on Amazon.......
Remote is line of sight, no LCD screen letting you know source or volume level.....I dont think it lacks bass at all.

Mine has been delivered. Won't be trying it for quite a while but I can't believe how big it is.
Mine was also delivered today and I'm very happy with it especially for the price.....and yes it is huge but looks good on the cabinet with the TV on top. If I was to add a subwoofer what type would I be looking for. I've seen Active and Passive and is there a max output I need to look for?
It's like a tank. Far bigger than I thought. But it's mental how cheap it is (I know it's old) but the shear amount of features and sound quality is incredible
Can anyone who owns this post the length and breadth of it please, I need to know if my TV will fit on top before ordering.

Length=Massive
Breadth=Massive

Anyone who has this have you been able to get HDMI ARC working, my Philip's Ambilight 6703 connects but there is no sound from the Roth and the volume key on the Philip's remote stops working....

Active sub is what you require. Doubt there is a limit for max out put of the sub.
Sounds great when plugged in, Bluetooth seems to cause some issues for me. Anyone else experiencing the same?
