I've been looking at the Rotring 600 and I think I'm ready to buy at this price, it's the lowest it's ever been. Sold and dispatched by Amazon, also available in Silver, amazon.co.uk/gp/…h=1 however, this is £12.92

You need to try one and see materials and quality, this is not "just" an ordinary pencil.

It might seem a little crazy, but these are superbly engineered and a joy to use - they just feel right in the hand.

Perfect for fixing bent CPU pins.

Thanks OP.

It's actually a LOT cheaper than my current favourite pencil But I need something I can afford to lose, so ordered.

I guess they've never heard of the Apple pencil either.

An entry level pencil for children and the elderly.

No internet connectivity so I don't think it'll appeal to more experienced pencil people.

I've climbed the north face of that mountain...

Always fancied a half decent pencil. Thanks op

Kuru Toga premium, although not full metal body i feel is a better pencil.

I'm neither a child nor elderly. I use my Apple pencil on a daily basis so I think I may qualify as a "more experienced pencil person".

But I also write poetry in a real notebook with a real pencil so this has most definitely appealed to me.

Thank you OP.

Is this gold plated at this price?

This has metal. The Palamino pencils would really upset some on here...

SOLD!

Always wanted one since college. Paid £14 odds a couple of months back for the silver job. Think the reviews said the black wears off? Or check something from the OHTO Promecha range, Kaweco, Kon-i-Noor, Tombow or Zebra ranges, from Cult Pens, etc

I always used a Pentel similar to this when I wanted a decent pencil.

Is this Rotring really 3x better than the Pentel?
My Pentel lasted years - probably still in a drawer somewhere.

Got mine this morning, very happy much nicer than I expected

I bought a Kurutoga a few years ago. It has worn very badly, and is not that nice to use. Even my old Pentel from school (!) is still virtually perfect by comparison.

The Rotring arrived today, and is very nice indeed. Worth every penny

Although my favourite remains my Yard O Led. yard-o-led.co.uk/pro…cil

That’s a nice looking pencil, I was looking at a Mont Blanc Starwalker but much prefer the one you linked

It is a bit of a "work of art". Well worth the price, as it is hand made from Sterling Silver. Keeps its value as a result.
