Doubt it, think a hammer and tiling chisel would be best. I doubt the lips on the wrecking bars are thin enough

I would say so, they are quite small in length.
Just in case anyone is reading through the thread, if you have a "Roys" store near you (Norfolk/Suffolk):

Oh, well it might well work but I guess there’s only one way to find out really. Doesn’t really matter if they’re coming off I suppose as it doesn’t matter if they get damaged
A Great range of tools to hit the mrs with. She better keep making my coffee...
Thanks 🙈🙈🙈
On another note......

These look relatively small in size.
Does anyone believe having a bigger set of these is more advantageous?
No good for ATM machines

These are rather on the small size, handy for most small jobs around the house, but I have a couple of larger crowbars for bigger jobs in the garden etc.

My zombie apocalypse go bag is 1 crowbar, 20 rolls of toilet paper, A packet of riesen chocolate chews, and 2 sets of underwear...
It doubles up for use incase of brexit.
I find the wide flat bar invaluable...

Screwfix have a better and larger set but they are currently £28 I think
Sometimes they become £17
Best wait for them imo

Careful what jokes you make. I posted a lighthearted joke about a deal that used the B word and it was deleted without explanation. Not sure whether the HUKD team scans & deletes based on keyword or if someone objected.

I don't worry, I have been deleted in many places, normally for completely non offensive content.
No matter what you say on the internet someone's going to take offense.

If you tell someone to have a nice day you can get a response like
"I'm not going to have a nice day just because you told me to. REPORTED"

What is the difference between the Gorilla bars and the Utility bars from Roughneck? Both appear to be carbon steel, drop forged, hardened and tempered.

Wondering whether to go for this set or hold out for the Screwfix set to get reduced on a special offer. I suppose getting this Toolstation set and buying one longer bar would cover most bases.

Thanks for posting @ronniejb we have added your thread to the Highlights section
When will people stop making those lame jokes whenever a crowbar or a bolt cutter deal is posted? please have mercy on us
I am here for comments. Thieves don't carry such heavy tools apparently all they need is a small scree driver to pop of the glass on Windows and patio doors like I found out when my house got broken into around Christmas time.
Reminds of the good old days in City 17... ah, those were the days ...

I would think the longer crowbar is probably better compared to a smaller length. You get more leverage in my experience when lifting up floorboards.

I am probably going to hold out for the set from screwfix once they are on offer
Not in a rush anyway.

Probably around about the same time people stop adding "better" photos to any deals for ladies underwear I guess... so never!
