A decent round the world trip here for the price I think. Not many countries but some very interesting destinations! Of course feel free to change the dates but this is likely to impact the final price. Hand luggage only.

London to Rome - 20th Jan - £27. Better times available for £6 more.

Do they have washing machines in these countries?

No, but you're allowed 1x washing machine on board along with hand luggage.

Great work.can you find any flight to Dominica 9/2/20-21/9/20 for under £700,
That's one of the best rtw plans I've seen, heat for the effort!

Not bad but I would like include New Zealand and South America on mine. Thanks

Great to know this would be possible for this sort of money. How does an official around the world ticket price compare...I heard good things about those but never seen pricing since you don't seem to be able to book online.
Good effort but unless you are a smelly student then you need baggage for proper hiking, mountain biking gear etc. If you just get pissed all the time then you can struggle by with hand luggage only but even then it will be a pain and a waste of a trip. The actual cost of adding baggage shouldn't be that much though as it's only 6 flights.

Visit STA travel. You can't book online due to the high amount of customizing most travellers want. It will be about 2k to do it properly with full baggage, good airlines and 10 of your own chosen stops over 5 continents max.

Budget airlines are far far cheaper than any 'Officisl' RTW ticket. If you have the time it will get you around the region really cheaply too, ie Ryanair etc. for Europe and Air Asia and competitors for Asia. Also a pretty good range if budget airlines in South America too like Gol and Sky for example.

If you really have the time relocation cruises can be a really cheap way to get around the world. Have a look at vacationstogo.com for a quick summary of the kinds of deals you can get. For example I have done Marseille to Mauritius for £700 (26 nights) that included 2 days in the amazing Seychelles.

With a decent cabin sized bag (Osprey etc) you could sacrifice a few non essentials and still bring enough to do those kinds of activities. Fitness and mentality is more important than specialised gear, most hiking can be done with a decent pair of trainers.

As you say cabin baggage is perfectly doable, I have done cabin baggage for a 10 month trip, though I do prefer checking a bag for things like a penknife and large fluids (hence new Ryanair bag rules are great.)

I think you might need to check a bag if you want to go mountain biking though, (the bike wouldn't fit in cabin luggage ;-) )

As well as being doable, taking only cabin baggage makes you realise how little stuff you need in life.
Great trip, never been to London Gatwick

I mean proper hiking where you need a map, not nice paths for a stroll..
You can do it free on google earth. Joke apart, whats the point of these deals here if no one use it. Can one person here say, ‘Yes, just booked. Thanks!’ ?
Amazing effort. Great destinations. Heat!
Nice work reindeer!

I know what you're saying and I agree to an extent that we want useful deals or deals that are of interest. However, a deal's a deal regardless of how many people took up the deal. if someone posted a legit deal of 60% for a Bugatti Chiron, it would be an amazing deal, even if no one here would buy it.
Is there a way to block deals from specific users on this site? I'm tired of these pointless arbitrary "around the world" trips that feature a small selection of random destinations, and have neither checked luggage nor seat selection.

Two places in Japan, two places in the US (one of which is the horrible LA), one of Europe's most touristy cities (which is also one of my personal least favourite cities), no Africa, no Middle East, no Australasia. This isn't a round the world trip.

I doubt anyone has ever done one of the trips posted here, so why all the heat?

I've done 2 RTWs so far and have to say I prefer to plan it out myself to see as much as I can in the year or whatever time I ditch work for to do the trips. Good price for this, but not one for me.

Yet it must have taken you much much longer to click through and write that reply that just scrolling past a 1000 of these deals with no click through
I'll never do a RTW trip, kids wife etc but still love reading through these deals fantasising about the possibility.
Keep posting

Yes. It’s called ‘scrolling past’ and I charge £20 paid via PayPal for 30 minute course on how to unlock this magic power.

I also teach positivity too, to help people from getting wound over the smallest of things.
Great work op.

For anyone worried about Air Asia - flown all over Asia with them and think they're great. Have always been on time, nice staff. Also, it doesn't cost much to add 20kg hold luggage and you'll be offered a meal too onboard. Can't remember what they call it but it's the next tier up from standard fare and normally only a few pounds extra.

For anyone that does this, send us some pics to make us all jealous.
Superb price and curating @reindeer333

Well worth the money, as just the flights or a one night stop over in Japan, will be this price for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games!

Good question. Another pointless deal. Better than a 1 way flight though.
Great flight and not the typical around the world route. Thank you!

Haters gonna hate!

"not the typical around the world route" because it misses most continents?

Seeing as how you're so enthusiastic about this, I presume you're going to book it?

No, but you're allowed 1x washing machine on board along with hand luggage.

She has a name... Bit harsh
A good price but visiting just 3 countries is not termed as a 'Around the World' trip. You need to do some travelling, reindeer333.
Great effort, but personally having been to Japan I'd spend a lot more time in Osaka than Tokyo. Tokyo is awesome sure but Osaka is a great base to explore Japan, near so many awesome places like Kyoto, Nara and the city itself is amazing.

I would just ditch the Tokyo to Osaka flight, spend a couple of days in Tokyo and then get the train to Osaka, personally.
Amazing deal and kudos for putting this together!
