"Product Details

Save yourself from constantly weeding with this Roundup 3L weedkiller. Roundup kills down to the roots of the weeds so that they won't grow back. Roundup is ideal for use on paths, patios, drives, flower beds, vegetable patches and waste ground. Using the easy grip, child resistant trigger you can apply the mixture by one of 2 different spray patterns. It degrades in the soil to allow replanting, and results are visible within 48 hours."

Use cheap white vinegar and save the environment and don't fund Monsanto.

**** bought some of this yesterday and it cost a lot more than this for a tiny bottle!

Monsanto is probably the most evil company in existence.

Yeah, but yours was probably undiluted.

Companies are money making entities. Amoral would probably be a more appropriate term.

Thank you for the advice.

Just noticed Weedol is also £7.50 for 3 litres at tesco.

tesco.com/dir…rue

This diluted stuff (according to the spec on Amazon for the same product) contains only 7.2g/litre glyphosate, so only 21.6g of the active ingredient in that 3 litres. I recently bought a 5 litre container of 360g/litre glyphosate concentrate from 'a well known auction site' for £34.50 (incl P&P) containing 1,800g of glyphosate. To get 1,800g from Tesco's ready diluted packs you'd need to buy 83 of these containers costing £622.50.

Produced by those scumbags Monsanto. Support them, support the death of this planet.

Still highlights what they have done.

You seem hell-bent on supporting the destruction of the planet. Just know that you're on the wrong side of history.

I just don't think your arguments are well-informed. If you're turning to websites like that for your information, it's not hard to see why.

I'm not pro-Monsanto, how they've handled the commercialisation of GMOs has done massive reputational damage GM technology. Monsanto produced plants that offered no obvious benefit to the public, and tried and hide labeling of GM in consumer foods. This approach disenfrachises consumers and leads to a public backlash. However, the technology and the commercialisation of GMOs are two completely distinct areas.

I've produced GM plants on a research basis, and I'm pretty familiar with the current technology used to produce them. The amount of Ill informed sh*t I've heard about GM makes me despair. There's so much half-baked anti-GM propaganda and dis-information that deliberately confuses and misleads the public, that it's really no suprise that there's a significant resistance to GM in the UK. Thankfully, this opinion is changing as the benefits of GM become more apparent.
