Amazon have dropped the price of this 5ltr size Roundup pump and go to £18.99 with free delivery. some places charge that for half the size. I spotted it late last night so I decided to try it through Flubit and this morning received an offer from Flubit for £16.66, I nearly ordered it last night at £18.99 as I consider it a reasonable price now im so glad I took the chance and waited. Flubit dont always come back so quickly with cheaper prices and the price can rise on amazon while you are waiting. The cheapest seller on ebay is £23.55, wilko is £21, Homebase £28.99, B & Q £26.57.

How do I get a flubit account do I need inviting?

This spray is extremely dangerous to humans. If it gets on your skin & into your body you can expect some very nasty results. DNA changes for example & women can miscarry.
Very scary stuff !!!

That's right i used this the other week and got some on my hand...now i have lost my hand but grown a hoof instead......Numpty!!.

Speak to your local farmer & get him to fill a empty water bottle with some of his nuclear weed killer.

Then you can REALLY poison some shizzle.

Bought this the other week amazon.co.uk/ROS…ler

Use 100ml of the stuff mixed with 5L of water. You still need to buy a spray, but in the long run works out a lot cheaper.

I signed up to flubit couple of years ago the link is
flubit.com/

you need to enter your email address and they will send you an invite, dont know how long that will take. its free and worth joining as you can request them to better any amazon item (but not third party items). I always wait for amazons price to come down first. If you change your mind or its not a cheap enough offer then you dont have to buy it through them. I dont get any spam or mailings from them and its very simple to use. Ive not had any problems with items i have purchased, although ive never had to send anything back so I cant vouch for their customer service. Im sure other members will have some feedback on that. Hope that helps :-)

Of course as its been published in the paper that must be true..... Unfortunately my driveway is not millions of acres in size so I doubt I will even use one 5ltr bottle.

Cold for Monsanto...

Get roundup gel instead. Less waste, less pollution.

Banned

Monsanto is evil.

I tried the gel awkward to take top off probably safety reasons but one time i did open it both the top and the bit where the gel comes out came off and some of the gel squirted out.

LOL Guardian readers on minimum wage.

Nightmares.

This might be a good price for the "brand" but I completely agree with the comments some others have made - i.e. if you need a lot of weedkiller then get yourself down to an agricultural merchant (or a good garden centre) and buy a trade pack of glyphosate (360g/l). Should be well under £40 for 5l and will dilute at least 50:1 to give you the same strength as retail. It's the same active ingredient as Roundup and would make 250l of equivalent mix at 1/25th the price per litre!

btw if you like the "visibility" of Roundup you can apparently add a little washing up liquid to the mix give it the same frothy appearance. It also mixes well with oil to make a great stump killer (to paint onto a tree or shrub stump after you cut it down).

If you go down this route though (or just buy this Roundup deal) then please be careful! I doubt you'll be developing extra limbs or super powers but glyphosate is a poison and IS nasty stuff.

I've voted Hot on this deal btw as it is a good price, but if you are buying this deal it is also worth finding out about the weapon's grade stuff too as it works out so much cheaper over the long run.

Aye all weed killers are dodgy, deffo should wear a mask, visor, paper suit, nitrile gauntlets and wellies. Yes Monsanto are up to no good allot of the time, like most corps. But what are you gonna do?, they are to big. Every time you go to the shops your supporting wars, illegal occupation of land, death squads, deforestation and modern day slavery. And every time you buy a paper, get a tv license, a sat/cable/broadband subscription your supporting a giant propaganda machine. There is no escaping it.

Dailymail is trash... everything to them causes cancer AND stops it.

I'm a professional and qualified weed sprayer and I use glyphosate every day. I find it crazy that anyone would spray this on resistant crops to kill the weeds around. That's where the problem is and not through the kind of use that most people make of it on drives, pavements and gardens. It's obviously not meant for consumption people.
Don't put this on your cornflakes!

yaaaawn!!!!!

FWIW Amazon have 5l of the weapon's grade stuff (which will dilute to make 250l of Roundup equivalent) here for £33.50 delivered. But I still think it's worth checking out your local agricultural merchant (if you have one!) as they may be even cheaper. Again, not trying to diss this deal, which is a good price for 5l with a spray applicator - just saying that if you are likely to need more than 5l over the next few years then buying the concentrated stuff is much, much cheaper and gives you some flexibility (if you have any stubborn weeds or stumps then you can use it in a more concentrated form). HTH

Cheers OP

Went down the Flubit route to get it even cheaper

Was 11p more than you paid though
