I've found this stuff to be great. You just place it against the weed, almost like a roll in deodorant, and click the handle. It's always windy where I live so this is much more useful than traditional weedkiller. It's between 7 and 9 pounds most places but currently reduced to £3.50 in the national tesco garden clearance

I've seen this on the telly. ...is it any good? ??

Worked a treat on my driveway! Only thing is its not the best for small things like grasses, more suited to bigger stuff

Best not to get it mixed up with your deodorant though.

£8.00 on Tesco website

So is this an 'in store' offer only?

Instore and store dependent.

I bought one of these a bit back and found it to be absolutely useless on anything I tried it on(nettles/dandylions etc)

others could have different experience though......

Got a free one if anyone wants it.
Its a load of crap.

Have a word with a local farmer if you live in the country and ask him to sell you some of his Roundup. A fraction of the price of the stuff available in the shops, and infinitely stronger.

Just look for Glysophate (Roundup basically) on eBay and get a backpack sprayer.

Something like This Clicky

Kills anything it touches ... worked a treat on my gravel after years of pulling.

Rubbish used it a couple of times as i thought the first time may of been an error but no its scrap avoid even if free

I've heard salt is a good way to control weeds. Vinegar to. Is this true?

got one of these for 3.50,all it killed was my back bending over to apply it,utter ****

Yes, I agree. I used it a few weeks back and it didn't work on anything which is probably why it's so drastically reduced.

None in durham Tesco

Not many Glysophate deals on ebay, that one you linked is 42 quid! Must be good for that!

Try searching for the correct word - Glyphosate. The post you quote misspelled the word. There's quite a lot on eBay, and the prices tend to reflect the concentrations, which vary enormously. The very concentrated versions cost rather more, but provide far greater coverage.

Yes - 400ml mixes with 20L of water and covers 800m squared....there's 5L in that £34 tub so will last a VERY long time! And trust me, the stuff really does work!
