Nice find! My problem is that I'd probably eat the whole jar in a day - once I get started on these I cant stop myself.
i bought 5 yesterday to see me through, but already scoffed one watching footie last nite......
Good find. Never seen the bags for £1.70 before, normally Poundland and the like sell them, currently 67p in Sainsburys.

I've got one full of nails and screws in the garage at the moment lol
You seem certain it's national. How so?

You can tell by the ticket in the store. If it has a valid til date on it , it is national rather than store specific.

What teeth? That's why this isn't a Rowntrees fruit gum post...
Nice deal to make Valentines Day a little more fruity
Love to to see how much over your RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) in sugar this jar contains... and there are people that will eat a jar full, its cheaper to buy three 250g bags at the moment, 3 for 2 - £2.00. I suppose nothing to eating a shop box (48) Mars Bars sitting in front of the TV - that's more like a typical Valentines day for some...

Typical Values......100g contains.........Five sweets (25g) contain
Energy.................1395kJ (330kcal).....350kJ (85kcal)
Protein..................3.6g.......................0.9g
Carbohydrate.......78.2g.....................19.6g

So three bags is equivalent of eating (near enough) a small bag of Granulated Sugar (500g). Maybe, try that instead, with a teaspoon - see how far you get.

As a white, British , homeowning, heterosexual male, married with 3 children and not on state benefits , eating these is probably the only thing I am allowed to do without offending someone. Pass me another jar!!!!!
This is old xmas stock - damn nice though
Just purchased a 550gram box of Rowntrees Pic n Mix which includes Pastiles,Wine Gums and Tooth Fruity for £1.00 at Tesco in Sale Manchester. Think its Christmas stock.
