Honey doesn't go off. Unless they have added stuff to it that does spoil.....
I was given some honey by a registered bee keeper 🐝 best thing I've ever tasted.
News just in from Queen bee stop stealing our honey!
snake oil... just the same as a 50p jar !
I believe that most honey sold is actually not 100% honey and that a lot of the time is mixed with corn syrup and other things. I think it's mainly when you see it says blended with non EU honey. If you want pure honey it's best to get single sourced honey
Oh man, I'm buzzing. What a sweet deal!

One from Nepal will never eat this so-called honey...
Intresting to see what the difference is between this and normal £1.50 honey

Only the taste. Those who ppeddle Manuka honey health benefits are operating a money making scam.

Real Manuka honey has massive health benefits over all other honey's. I don't know how pure Rowses product is, as I don't use their honey. However, it's probably the best natural antibacterial food you can eat, and has mighty powerful healing properties. It can even be applied externally to fight infection and speed up healing. It is quite incredible stuff.
Wow 2p off...

Amazing deal.

Kindest regards

Rubbish. A 50p jar will be all sugar syrup and "fake honey". Watch the Netflix documentary on it, then you'll realise paying a little gets better quality.

Or just buy from a local bee keeper for cheaper/better.

Where is the evidence for this?

How is it better than the honey I get from the local beekeeper that tastes superb, I know hasn't been adulterated, and is £5 for 450g (nearly twice as much as this jar).

Working in veterinary Manuka honey is amazing and healed some skin infections nothing else would have touched, great stuff lot of shops normally charge an arm and leg for these as well so heat from me
Single sourced honey from trusted beekeepers is the way to go, too many companies are blending honey to get that acquired look/consistency/taste. Australian blossom honey from Waitrose is one my favourites.
So is this national or store specific?
Great for cuts, bruises, etc but if you want if for allergies though it's better to get local honey. This is a damn good price!

There is plenty of evidence out there to support Manuka honey's infection figting properties. That doesn't mean that local honey doesn't have health benefits, as all real honey is widely reported to be good for your health. It's just that pure Manuka has been tested for its infection fighting activity, and this is far higher than other honey that is not solely derived from the Manuka plant. That being said, humans are consuming too much honey. The demand is now higher than the amount of honey being produced. Those poor bees, we're robbing them blind!

Also proper honey isnt clear
Clear honey is filtered, which removes the good stuff

Consuming sugar syrup has the same health benefits and is much cheaper, just mix sugar and water

Oh right I didn't know this. I never eat honey so doesn't really effect me but useful for others on here to be aware

£10 for 454g jar of local honey in Glasgow. This looks cheap and should be great. Thanks for posting
