These were incredibly popular last year, fetching £100s on ebay and virtually impossible to source for the average Joe in time for Rememberance Sunday. For those who missed out they are in stock now and will be delivered in time for November 11th.

These are not a special or reduced price, but I would guess that they will run out of stock once again this year so I though a few people might like reminding of them before they sell out.

Lots of jewellery items available to show support.

The poppy had never looked so good! This stunning 18 karat gold plated brooch from Buckley is a must-have for any accessory lover. Inlaid with beautiful crystals, this brooch is not only a head turner, but is unique in that it has combines both the importance and beauty of the poppy; allowing its wearer to feel both sophisticated and incredibly proud. Perfect as a gift, as well as a treat for yourself! (Size: approx. 35mm x 20mm)

Sold officially through the Royal British Legion Poppyshop. Don't feed the ebay seller's pockets! Donate directly to the charity!

PLEASE; Don't buy these with the intention of profiteering on ebay. I have posted this item in the hope that more people may be able to support a very worthwhile charity and enjoy an item which was made unavailable last year by people led by greed.
Please just purchase for yourself and perhaps treat a friend/family member, not ebay.x

Many thanks for the reminder. I missed out last year. Thank you.
Surely no one would pay that amount on ebay!!!
I swear danwel, they were fetching obscene amounts. I managed to get one but only after Rememberance Sunday through the Official Poppy Shop-I refused to support any of the ebay sellers.

I even emailed one seller asking what she planned to do with her profits as her brooch was fetching £80+. She told me that she had given a donation in buying it, it was up to other people how much they were willing to pay and that she had never stated she would donate any profits back to charity. I think she had 10 brooches for sale in all.
Get one quick, they sold out last year.
Thanks managed to get one last year just ordered the large one as seen worn by Carol Malia on tyne tees news tonight.

I have the small one, but I might invest in one of the larger ones this year, it's beautiful. I like how they've expanded the range this year, It's a shame the ring and Kleshna poppies are already out of stock. x
Heated for all the right reasons.

God there's some real scumbags out there, I'm tempted to go on a mass buying spree on ebay then not pay the bloodsucking leeches

I hope HUKD is doing to right thing and not profiting from referrals
why do people like these? I mean, why do they pay so much for them?

I might have done that last year got me a few abusive messages though!
bought a few
To be honest, I don't see what's wrong with profiteering from these - the royal legion still sell all of their stock, making the amount of money they would have made if different people bought them instead of 1 person buying them, what's wrong?
Heat added a very worthy cause.

I like them because usually I would pay £1 for a paper poppy which either falls apart in the rain, or drops off- I hate the awkward pins that come with them.

I personally love this pin because it is very pretty and therefore eyecatching, raising the profile of poppies and the Poppy appeal. It's sparkly so matches my clothing choices and character.
I completely understand the politics of a swarovski poppy having virtually no relevance to the sacrifice many men made for our country, however the fact is, they are popular and bring in a lot of sales and RBL are proud to stock them, so I am proud to buy one.

And yes, for anyone wondering, although I bought one of these last year, I have placed my donation in the poppy box also already this year.

Trolling? Yes I could never understand the people who would buy something like this on e-bay at big mark ups:|
Why does the website have American terminology? Also when I have ordered, my email account is flagging it as suspicious!!

Or Laura Ashley!
Its wrong because TRBL could sell these for huge mark up and don't. They prefer to keep these available to all.

Its wrong. The RBL do so much for the forces and ex forces and their families.

Don't feed the trolls, these threads always attract the anti armed forces, idiots.

Yep let's keep it nice and positive and on topic please. I won't be reporting trolls- everyone is entitled to an opinion. But opinions fall flat when they don't gather a response so please don't respond and escalate negative comments, just ignore where possible.

Excellent bought three for the ladies of the house and a standard couple of poppy pins for use on suits and overcoats.
I understand that the poppy is a raw symbol for some, and I speak as someone who knows the families of those who were murdered on Bloody Sunday. The British Government's apology was a huge step forward for peace in Northern Ireland, and closure for people who have suffered for years to see their families cleared.

I acknowledge and respect that the poppy is a right of remembrance for everyone who holds a British heritage – it remembers those who probably stood in tears, thought of their families and loved ones, who comforted their dying comrades and marched into Hell. I am an Irish Catholic who sought to understand the symbol and what it truly means to those who wear it. I do not betray any heritage by respecting the right of those who wear it to remember the very human loss that war brings. Wilfred Owen is perhaps the most eloquent commentator on that great tragedy of even a single loss of life in combat. If even one poppy is worn to hold dear a single life lost then I cannot see that as a bad thing. I love my children, as I am sure did the parents and families of those who lost their own in those harrowing great wars. The link below is to a Wilfred Owen poem.
