It is a great way to help our native birds and wildlife, thanks for posting!
Thanks this is great :) ordered one each for my little boys. The code RAVEN2 gave 20% off on the frogspawn slime I ordered as well as free delivery, thanks!
The product is £2.99
Thanks for this, got it for my little boy. Also bought the green woodpecker mini clip. Free delivery code worked perfectly 👌
Can a mod update the title for £2.99 instead of £5.94 as £2.99 delivered with the free delivery code is a great deal! Bought one for my 3 year old, he loves traumatising woodlice anyway. But this would make a good stocking filler or small gift.
Nice, Especially with free delivery.
Brilliant, Ive a skip booked for tomorrow so lucky I seen this first, keep my boy's busy for few hour's
A great way to tidy all that stuff in your garden, build one of these and keep the kids busy for a bit too. (y), have some heat from me!
Wow thats more of a mansion than a hotel!
Made one a few weeks back 😁
:( R.S.P.B. Should never have sent out hunter's to shoot the "Blue Ruddy Ducks" - they were alive, but inconvenient to some......
No, but I want enough detail to decide whether to follow the link rather than a four word description and an image I can't see. It's not hard to write an extra two or three lines. If you want the heat put the work in
The pack hasn’t been anywhere nearly that good in recent years. I have got my pack this year and I have got a welcome letter, a sheet giving images and stats about most common birds and a sheet to record the birds you have seen. Nothing nearly as fancy as you suggest. So if anyone is applying for lots of nice goodies don’t bother but if you want to count our feathered friends in your garden then you might just get it in time
Follow the link. Do you want to be spoon fed all the details Mr. Albert?
What is a bird pack? What do you need to do to get it? Details does a good deal make
5318008 on a calculator
I think that one was smaller
Nice price (y)
That bird looks like the Spruce Goose of the animal kingdom.
https://www.dunelm.com/search/bird+bath I see they have a cast iron bird bath for £12 but suspect they'll be a store specific item.
Yes or until some fat bird takes a bath and an Eartha Kitt in it and you have to keep cleaning it out :D
Thats really odd - the links must have moved since I posted it :( Good spot nonetheless - corrected the link now.
Whenever any form like this asks for information that they don't need, fill it with garbage details (making sure to satisfy anything that requires to be valid like a postcode. Usually anything ending in 1AA will be fine) The actual page with the downloads is: https://www.rspb.org.uk/get-involved/activities/bake-for-nature/promoting-your-bake-for-nature/ EDIT: This topic title is "how to make your garden wildlife friendly". The link for that is: https://www.rspb.org.uk/birds-and-wildlife/advice/gardening-for-wildlife/creating-a-wildlife-friendly-garden/ The "get deal" link takes you to a form to register for a "bake for nature pack"
Voted hot, but yes, why do they need your details? I signed up monthly DD to RNIB and a few months later got a call from them asking for more! Plus, have you noticed how rare it is nowadays to give anonymously? So many charities ask for numerous details before they will accept your money. Bloody crazy.
Thats such a sad stat :(
What am I missing here? This is not on anymore, no option to post it, only download pack?
Why has this just popped up on the What’s hot info on What’s app? The Big Garden Bird Watch is run from 26th to 28th January do has finished for this year!!!
Yup same here, it says I registered for the downloadable version, but i'm sure there was no option to pick a 'family pack'.
Expired in January 2019
You can get free shipping and 20% off on certain items which makes the crackers also eligible for free delivery but you must add something in the promotion to the basket. See photo attached. I added a slimey slug stocking filler which makes my delivery free. CODE REG40
Great and a worthy cause - excellent
These are the kind of crackers I’d love to have!
If you request a free catalogue the free delivery offer also works
Perfect, thank you!!
Hey! Do a search on their search bar for scarves - still 5 other styles at £4 in stock ! They just don’t show everything on the one sale page
Everyone should get involved in this , You can do it all online also which saves the planet and the RSPB printing costs.
London Paris Tegucigalpa?
awesome, a deal that actually benefits wildlife for a change. Kudos to you OP, voted hot. Also a charity worth donating to as they do a lot (y)
15th & 16th of September you can walk around the old mining machine Dragline on the St Aidan’s site
Yes Fairburns Ing is great too with free entry but I wasn’t sure where to park for free It’s only £3 on site (last time people moaned about parking car charges on another free day out I posted)It has a play area with climbing area, swing and others bits. You can pay to do pond dipping, or hire an explorer backpack. It’s a lovely cheap day out. https://www.rspb.org.uk/reserves-and-events/reserves-a-z/fairburn-ings/
This and Fairburn Ings, close by, also free. A great day out for nature lovers or just for taking the kids out.
Free parking :.If you park across LemonRoyd Marina it is free parking as well.Quite a big area and relatively flatish walking.
No that's Butlins you're thinking of.
They are offering free parking now until August 13th ( when the new centre opens as the old centre has now closed ) . This is probably to hide the increase in parking charges after August 13th ( it was previously £3 - my guess is £6 ). RSPB have form for overcharging on their car parks ( look at south stack on Anglesey - where they have been trying to charge £5 and facing strong opposition - it was previously free ). The old visitor centre has been closed just as the school holidays has started ( just goes to show how poorly managed this has been)
Do they steal for the rich and take from the needy?
I live in the village and after 40 years it's sadden me to see. Plans have been made for all the paths to be filled in only one leading to the major oak, they want to stop people walking their dogs off lead for the birds ! More sadly the cemetery near the visitors centre has been so strict to ensure it looks good for visitors that toys and flowers have been removed.
For the little ones there is a small fair nearby that's really good. Costs £5 for enough tokens for about 5 rides.
I have claimed this, thank yo
Thanks for reminding me, kids luv doin this (popcorn)
Yes, ordered; have something new at the birdseed, this may help identify.
Just ordered one
Done this last couple of years and I’ve enjoyed it.
Should do for my niece. Cheers.
What a bunch of stags...
How do you know if he's proud or not? X)
Merry Chistmas deer
White Candycane oO
I was a proud stag once and then I got married :|
What he actual...
Weird Fish is Soooooo funny, oh wait.
Personally, I don`t like the shirt. Why not simply give a donation, that way you can be sure how much actually goes to the RSPB.
Look cool in this whilst listening to Drake. :p
Must be quackers to actually wear this
When joining I ticked the box to say I did not want to receive phone calls. I hate anything like that.
Only thing is be prepared for them to start phoning you constantly wanting you to increase the amount you pay for your membership when it comes up for renewal...my OH being a complete twit agreed to pay them £80 2 years ago oO Last year we were receiving numerous phone calls every day for weeks prior to the membership renewal wanting us to agree to another increase and despite me asking them to stop phoning they just kept at it until I told them that if they phoned one more time the membership would be cancelled.
According to http://www.rspb.org.uk/discoverandenjoynature/seenature/reserves/guide/b/bemptoncliffs/about.aspx the charges for that reserve are "Non-members: adults £3.50, children (aged 5-17) £1.50, family (two adults and two children) £8.50. "
Does free entry mean free parking? I ask as my only experience of a reserve is at Bempton and the only charge I can think of is parking.
Just need a good deal on cat bird collars now..
I needed a laugh
I'm always on the look out for some Great Tits.:D
Though leaving out some nuts to nibble may well attract other tits perhaps .....(_;)
More likely to see some Blue Tits in your neighbours garden at the moment.....
Works fine for me. Maybe try this: rspb.org.uk/birdwatch
magpies pigeons and squirrels
This looks like fun, many thanks :) What's a good reference to identify birds? Edit: Nevermind, the online pack includes a handy bird identifier :)
Probably pigeons & crows.
Thanks for requesting your free Big Wild Sleepout pack full of ideas to inspire you and to help you have a truly memorable evening. It will be posted to you in seven working days.
Just a list of information by the look of it
What sort of spam will you get from the RSPB. language lessons. Get a life.
Oh ok. I didn't want to give out my details unless I knew what I would be getting. So I won't bother as I don't need spam mail. ;)
No idea, sorry
