    I was 16 when this first came out.

    I remember going to a party the day it came out and someone had just bought this album and brought it along.

    We played it over and over again that evening, once side 1 had finished we turned it over and played side 2.

    We played no other music that evening.

    However I do think Revolver (the one that followed this album) was a better album.

    Very difficult for "young" people nowadays to realise the impact the Beatles made back then.

    Absolutely. People who state they're overrated simply don't understand what they done to the music industry. They lead the way to so much that has been seen and heard ever since.

    Depressing to think that £20 is now a good deal, previously anything £15 or less was the benchmark for a good price. Voted hot anyway because inflation isn't OP's fault!
