The amount of trash like this I see posted on the forums, utter garbage!

These are awful bins! Please don't waste your money!! The lid is very poorly designed, it is spring loaded but the springs are held in place within a cheap plastic groove. The springs are ALWAYS popping out and it takes forever getting them back in. Just have a look at reviews on Amazon. It may seem lovely at first but you'll soon realise what a pain in the @rse it is when a spring pops out of position.

And when you finally give up on refitting the springs you may as well stick Curver's Customer Services number on speed dial because you'll be regularly requesting a replacement lid for the next 5 years!

What he said... springs and catch both gone on mine also. I'm not smart enough to keep guarantees on cheap items.

I think you might have to spend 20 for that?

No more 17.50, back to 31.30

£17.50 seems about the right price for a plastic bin.

thank you

very good bin for the price...but to echo previous comments the lid can be a nuisance and break off. you'll have to become skilled at putting it back together, those damn springs.

Send them a short but polite message explaining the problem with the lid (and also stating when and where you bought the bin) and include your address at the end of the message. They will then automatically send you a replacement lid, no questions asked.

The lid broke on the original one I had but they have upgraded / fixed it now - new one was sent out free and it's a 5 year warranty...

Paid £25 for mine and they are £20 in TK Maxx so very good price and very good bin!

I paid £20 for the metallic red version at TK Maxx and it's been very good so far. I like how the lid comes down and hides the handles of the bags.

We've had one a few years, and yes the springs popped out, and we lost them in the bin.

Emailed their customer services, didn't have to provide proof of purchase and they sent out an entire new lid section, with the rim and springs etc. First thing I did was blob on some hot glue to keep the springs in check.

Been fine ever since...

Good price for the new Mac Pro.

Bought one of these for £25 from Asda last week. Guess I've got all the springy fun to look forward to then.
