Runaway Alarm Clock - Guaranteed To Get You Out Of Bed In The Morning for £9.99 @ Dealtastic

The alarm clock that runs away and hides to get you out of bed.

It gives you one chance to get up. But if you snooze, it will jump off your nightstand and wheel around your room looking for a place to hide, beeping all the while. You'll have to get out of bed to silence his alarm. Kind of like a misbehaving pet, only he will get up at the right time.

You can choose the snooze time between 0 and 9 minutes. If you choose 0, the clock will start to run away as soon as the alarm sounds. The body consists of robust plastic with two wheels made of rubber and a LCD display. It can fall down for about 1m without being damaged.

•Choose between Black or White
•Size: 16x11x10cm
•Requires 4 x AA batteries (not included)

You gotta catch it first.

You gotta catch it first.

Thats a point.

This clock will not be used after the first time as it would do your head in, what you need to do is sneak it into your teenagers bedroom when they are asleep.

Paid about £25 for the original one of these ('Clocky'?) a few years back, d'oh. Haven't really been able to use it either as had laminate flooring in the last 2 places we've rented.

Found it on Ebay and the person selling it described it

when the alarm sounds to urge you to get up and stop it

A bit of an understatement.... LOL....

sounds fun

Would roll about 2 feet in any given direction before hitting all the junk strewn on my bedroom floor. The kind of person energetic enough to keep a tidy enough floor for this to function isn't really this device's target market...

Frickin' awesome gift for an enemy

Although I'm not sure what sort of enemy you buy gifts for!

very high risk of it breaking when it "jumps" off your nightstand

Isn't dealtastic one of those "dealextreme" type of stores which sells chinese knock offs? Wouldn't expect this to last too long before it ends up failing or the cheap plastic it's no doubt made from starts to break.

Cheaper on ebay for 7.99

Reviews on Amazon say it's just okay. Apparently it's super loud, and batteries don't last longer than 2 weeks.

The one on amazon is probably going to be more appropriately constructed.

the concept makes me laugh but in reality it would **** me off lol

What happens if you keep drinks on nightstand as well? Pushes and smashes, No thanks!

Defo a cheap imitation. I got one and it soon stopped working. Returned it and got the Clocky.

Great for getting the kids up for school :L Thanks op

sounds awesome

I got one of these a couple of years ago and ended up leaving clothes on my floor to stop it from getting away. Good alarm clock tho

If I had this alarm clock, I would not be held responsible for my actions in the morning.

If you put a Promotion Code 'DEAL5' you get i think 5% off and also go through Quidco and you get cash back on top of that!!!

This would drive me around the bend, not that I need an alarm clock with kids! Good price though, voted hot.

too expensive to destroy it when i woke up in the morning with this alarm..(_;)

Voted hot for product. No ide on price/value

Thx for posting

I cant see this going well next to my lamp and glass of water...
