Option for PayPal disappeared for this one? PayPal worked for Sonic on Russian store the other day just fine.
Used Revolut in the end.
Any good?
It’s a preorder.
Sorry if this has been addressed before, but how do you switch between regions on the eShop? Do you have to creaste a new NNID and email address? Thanks in advance and heat added.

Hi. You change Nintendo Account region at accounts.nintendo.com

If you have an NNID linked to your account it'll tell you you need to unlink it. You can relink it again after

There's no problem changing region to other Nintendo Of Europe countries which includes South Africa

But for The Americas and Japan, getting payment accepted is very difficult or not possible

So people create a separate Nintendo Account and buy eShop top-up cards for the region

Beware not to change the region of an account you wish to revert later and top it up with foreign credit, as people have found they were unable to revert back, and needed to contact Nintendo to do so

Thanks for the info, I did wonder about the Japan/Americas as I have set up 2 different accounts for these regions. Unfortunately I have already attempted to change the region on my US account so will have to change that one back.

Based on your advice, I'll just create another Europe account that I can use for Russia, South Africa etc.
Thanks again for your reply!

AFAIK it's only when people have loaded an account with US$ that have found they were unable to change the region again

There's no need to create separate accounts for Russia, South Africa and other European countries as there's no issues and it's very easy changing your main account region to any of them. And all games are then purchased on the 1 account
